Musk told hosts Nelk Boys and John Shahidi that the whole experience was “pretty nutty,” adding that he believes his rivals in the space industry encouraged the government to investigate him, reports The Daily Mail.

Though Musk later admitted he “has no idea how to smoke pot,” he has long maintained that cannabis shouldn’t be illegal.

Earlier this week, Musk also weighed in on Brittney Griner’s detainment in Russia after being caught travelling with cannabis vape canisters in her luggage.
“Maybe free some people in jail for weed here too?” Musk tweeted, a sentiment that was also echoed by smoking buddy Rogan.
“No one should be in jail for weed,” Rogan said while discussing Griner’s case. “We’ve people in America right now, locked up for marijuana, and they’ve been locked up for f**king years. For years and years and years. And there’s not one. There’s thousands of them,” he added.
