Alan Brochstein is in intensive care after being struck by a car while cycling

The family of Alan Brochstein has organized a medical fundraiser to help foot the bill for treatment required after he was struck by a car while cycling. Brochstein has undergone multiple operations for the bodily fractures he sustained and he remains in the intensive care unit, according to a GoFundMe page.

How is Brochstein progressing?
As of Apr. 24, Brochstein remained in intensive care. “The trauma team has been impressed with his progress, yet time is necessary to heal physically, mentally and emotionally,” the family post reads.
“If you have ever benefited from Alan’s content or just enjoyed his company, you can consider donating any dollar amount that feels right to you for this fundraiser,” the information adds.
With a bachelor of arts in economics from Northwestern University, the Chartered Financial Analyst has more than 30 years of experience in stock analysis, trading and portfolio management, per Investopedia.
He has founded several companies
Over the last 11 years, it notes, he has founded, been the principal of or owned five companies. NVC, 420 Investing and 420 Funders are all focused on the cannabis industry.
The Apr. 17 weekly edition of NCV, which usually involved Brochstein brainstorming potential topics, was, instead, dedicated to his recovery. “Out of respect for the family, we are keeping this message brief,” reads the edition, titled Healing Thoughts for Alan Brochstein. “We will be sharing more information.
