I have a new theory I will call narrative convergence. It was triggered by recent media coverage of three disparate events/issues, which demonstrate the convergence of competing narratives. Those under the spell of cognitive dissonance, by definition, will have no problem holding these contradictory premises without question, or denying them. For the rest of us, the glaring contradictions are exposed when one narrative is superimposed on the other. And we have to wonder how long the tawdry sleight of hand can continue before the rotten eggs and tomatoes start flying.

Bad Nazis, Good Nazis

The Canadian Trucker’s Convoy was mischaracterized as right-wing extremists, in order to poison the public against their legitimate dissent, the exercise of peaceful protest and Constitution rights to free speech and assembly.

Within a week, Russia was being vilified as an evil empire for intervening to defend ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine. In this case the Western media turned a blind eye to the known Nazi death squads that have been operating with official Western approval there since the 2014 Maidan coup.

One has to wonder, was it really about Nazis, or just demonizing those who don’t fall in line?

My Body, Your Choice

Over two years of mandatory lockdowns, distancing, masking, and toxic injections have done everything in government power to negate the former rallying cry, “My Body, My Choice,” once used to champion women’s rights to abortion. Leftists forgot those principles and clambered aboard the totalitarian express. A spike in miscarriages and spontaneous abortions from the jabs was swept under the carpet.

Then in the twinkling of an eye, the feminist slogan was exhumed as a new Democratic hail-Mary cause célèbre, following the leak of a pending US Supreme Court ruling that would kick the issue back to the state level to decide.

One has to wonder now, was it really about the women, or about the common motive of both programs, “population control”?

Shut Your Face

In the wake of the West’s Middle East wars, millions of Muslim refugees flooded Europe, sparking intense cultural conflicts including the issue of the head and face coverings for women in traditional Islam. One of the main rationales for “liberating” Afghanistan from the Taliban was to free women from such “barbaric” practices of the past (and, less reported, to restart the Talibanned opium trade, under new ownership; but I digress).

With the declaration of the global pandemic, voila: we all had to experience the fate of the Sunni woman, and hide our faces in public behind masks. Only this time, it was “for our own good, and for the health of society.” Meanwhile, twenty years and $2.3 trillion dollars later, Afghanistan was abandoned as a losing cause, back to the Taliban and their despicable burqa. Expect new Western feminist outrage to ensue.

One has to wonder, does the media and its managers have any sense of irony, conscience, or true concern about rights of women or humans in general? It’s doubtful, given their default response to date: “Shut your face.”

Come Together, Right Now

According to my newly minted theory of narrative convergence, there is overlap not only in each pair of issues above, but between the pairs as well. Thus, we can ponder: what do the seemingly separate issues of popular protest, engineered terror, personal sovereignty, depopulation, women’s rights, and fundamentalist religion have in common?

Obviously the threads are too vast to untangle or weave concisely here. Suffice it to say, the masters of our lives have it all under control. They’ve thought of everything; gamed all the permutations, increased the data input and tweaked the algorithms, paid for those who push the hot buttons and regulate the gates of public response. If we’re getting too close to seeing a big picture here, they have a new monkey-wrench to trash that one and install another, and a new word for monkey-wrench to confuse us further.

The eggs are getting ripe now, the tomatoes past their due date. So much for theory. It’s time to come together, right now.

In Covid Narrative Remix: Two Years of Dissent, Nowick Gray critiques the global agenda with the voice of the natural human spirit. These compiled articles from The New Now/Agora (2020-2022) shed light on the narrative sabotage carried out as the primary strategy of the war on humanity. Against that weapon of moral destruction, pen turns to sword in the ongoing battle for truth and freedom.
