Responding officers searched a nearby storage facility in County Laois, an area that’s home to about 85,000 people.

Police saw pallets containing boxes of vegetables that had been unloaded from a truck. Upon searching the boxes, they found approximately 121 kilograms of cannabis mixed in with the veggies.

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene.

In Hong Kong in 2019, a man in his 40s was arrested after police found $4 million worth of dried cannabis hidden inside bags of dog food.
