Brishna grew up in northern Afghanistan, the same region where much of the world’s Cannabis indica medical strains originated. She earned an M.Sc. in Neuroscience from McGill University, studying age-related cortical plasticity, and trained with leading researchers at McGill, University of Toronto, and University of Ottawa.
She is the President of Whistler Therapeutics (recreational brand EarthWolf Farms) and Co-founder of Whistler Technologies, a manufacturer of solventless extraction systems. Brishna holds multiple patents and publications and has guided several licenses and operations, with expertise spanning the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Cannabis Act, and the Food and Drugs Act.
Passionate about turning ideas into reality, she leads research, product development, and operational innovation at her companies. Outside work, she enjoys skiing, climbing, foraging, DJing, and hopes to pick up a water sport.
