Executive Summit
Monday January 19th
10:00am – 6:30pm
Powered by StratCann

The Executive Summit powered by StratCann kicks off Grow Up Vancouver with a full day of thought leadership and high-level discussion designed exclusively for C-suite executives, founders, investors, and decision-makers in the cannabis industry.

Taking place Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Vancouver Convention Centre East, the Executive Summit explores the business of cannabis through an executive lens – addressing market strategy, regulatory reform, investment trends, and international opportunities that define the next decade of growth.

Fireside Chat Keynote with Minister Popham

British Columbia’s decision to bring cannabis under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food marks a pivotal moment for the province and the industry at large. In this keynote fireside chat, Lana Popham, Minister of Agriculture and Food, joins Orville Bovenschen, President of Village Farms Canadian Cannabis, for a forward-looking conversation on the evolving relationship between cannabis and B.C.’s agricultural sector.

Together, they will explore how this policy shift unlocks new opportunities for producers, strengthens competitiveness, and reinforces B.C.’s leadership in sustainable innovation. The discussion will also highlight how the province is working collaboratively with government, industry, and communities to build a stable, inclusive, and globally competitive cannabis sector—one that supports rural development, drives economic diversification, and elevates B.C.’s reputation for quality agricultural products.

From the earliest days of Grow Up, CANNA has been a consistent supporter of the event, returning year after year to build relationships across the cultivation community. That support has taken many forms, including networking lounge sponsorships, grower lunches, and breeder’s zones. Each year, CANNA looks for new ways to contribute as the industry continues to evolve.
