Andrew Wilson

Andrew Wilson is the COO of GrowerIQ, a seed-to-sale cannabis cultivation platform. Designed in partnership with Master Grower Shlomo Booklin, GrowerIQ is the first platform to integrate all facility systems, including sensors, controls, QMS, and ERP, into a single interface. Insights from Shlomo’s 30+ years of agronomist experience were built into the software. The platform leverages proprietary machine learning technology to automate cannabis facilities and provide quality-boosting cultivation insights. GrowerIQ changes the way cultivators use software – transforming a regulatory requirement into a platform to learn, analyze, and improve crop performance.
At GrowerIQ, Andrew spearheads machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives. He also leads projects for the firm’s clients in Latin America.
Before GrowerIQ, Andrew developed custom enterprise software at Wilcompute Systems Group, a technology consultancy. Working in a variety of industries, including aerospace engineering, online marketplaces, and private educational clients, Andrew specialized in business process consulting, and using technology to boost efficiency and profitability.
Andrew also spent time consulting on customer experience engagements in Mexico and studying in Spain.
Prior to heading abroad, Andrew pursued an MBA in International Business and Corporate Strategy, with a regional focus on Latin America, at York University.
Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto in International Relations, with a dual specialization in Spanish and Arabic.
