Christian Butt

Christian is a founding team member and serves as the Director of Manufacturing at JointCraft™, one of Canada’s leading cannabis processing facilities. Originally hired as the first hourly employee at PINNRZ™, he played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution into JointCraft™, now a trusted partner for many of the industry’s most recognized brands.

Christian is responsible for the full scope of facility operations; From raw material intake, milling, and infusion to pre-roll production, edible manufacturing, packaging, and fulfillment. His approach emphasizes hands-on craftsmanship, with every pre-roll hand-closed and visually inspected to ensure consistency and top-tier product quality.

While automation is intentionally limited on the production floor to preserve quality, Christian led the development and implementation of JointCraft’s fully digital infrastructure, including electronic batch records, ERP systems, QMS tools, and custom software built to optimize compliance and operational efficiency.

He works cross-functionally with teams in Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Shipping, and Sales to align daily operations with evolving regulatory standards and client expectations. His leadership has helped shape a high-throughput environment that values precision, adaptability, and long-term success.

At Cannavision Global, Christian will share practical insights on building efficient, quality-first operations, and how purpose-built digital systems can support growth, compliance, and consistency in an increasingly complex cannabis landscape.
