Daniella Catherwood

Currently specializing in large-scale production, Daniella has established herself as a leader in commercial outdoor cultivation. She has an impressive track record of launching two successful facilities within RedeCan. Daniella was recruited as the first Lead Grower into the company during the final construction phase of a 130,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art greenhouse. In 2020, she was selected as the senior manager and Master Grower to complete construction and jumpstart the outdoor division located in Cayuga, Ontario. This facility spans over 98 acres with 273 cold-frame high tunnel hoop houses, a testament to Daniella’s expertise in the field. Her annual yield, generating up to a whopping 43 tons, is not for the faint-hearted. Prior to commercial production, Daniella started in the indoor cannabis industry in 2012 on Vancouver Island, BC as a Designated Grower under the MMAR program. It is through these multidisciplinary growing techniques and formal education received as a Greenhouse Technician and Organic Horticultural Specialist, that has resulted in Daniella’s division being recognized as one of Canada’s most successful outdoor production facilities, known for its strong quality and highly competitive cost per gram.
