Danielle French is perhaps best known as an independent singer/songwriter, having released five CD’s to date that have received airplay on outlets such as CBC, CKUA and campus radio across North America. Since 2015, she has also been working behind the scenes in the the Alberta Film Industry on major television and movie productions including “Let Him Go”, starring Diane Lane and Kevin Costner, “Tin Star”, starring Tim Roth and Christina Hendricks, and Jim Henson’s “Fraggle Rock- Back to the Rock” reboot, to name just a few.
After following along and investing early in various cannabis stocks in this emerging market, Danielle decided to use her investment gains and entrepreneurial spirit towards opening a small craft cannabis store when legalization unfolded in Canada in 2018. After many hurdles navigating the new system and synchronistically securing an ideal location in a historic church building in Diamond Valley, AB, Danielle opened the doors to Enlightened Herb Cannabis in 2020 during the global pandemic. Enlightened Herb Cannabis has become a destination location for locals as well as travellers exploring Alberta’s famous Cowboy Trail. Their highly curated menu of quality craft cannabis products grown by passionate micro-growers, along with their focus on CBD wellness products, have helped them build a loyal customer base.
