Francois McAllister (29) is born and raised in Rochester New York and a self-taught canna-chef, cannabis grower, medicinal patient and helped create “TheBadGuysBrand Inc.”. Working as a grow-consultant, Francois has 10+ years of small-sized grow design experience, and is passionate about catering and cooking infused meals for medical patients struggling with fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety.
Francois runs a small consulting business called “TheBadGuys’ Garden” where he provides professional expertise to assist small-grow design and implementation. With wide-ranging cannabis industry experience, Francois has worked in numerous industry roles, a list that includes: retail, wholesale, horticulture, culinary, medical, and even cannabis entertainment experience. Francois has earned the nickname the “weed scientist”, after earning the respect of his local peers, with the knowledge he has self-taught about the cannabis plant, and also the “canna-biz”.
Francois is the aware of the real challenges/hurdles facing himself and other Black/marginalized people trying to break through the “grass ceiling”, and overcome systemic discrimination into the legal cannabis industry. Francois and Shamar are two outspoken advocates for Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in New York State, as they know that BIPOC entrepreneurs like themselves would be a force to be reckoned with if they are given a fair chance, even playing field to pursue legal avenues to provide locals with the level of gourmet cannabis experiences they have come to expect from the Green Eatery Co.
