Hilda began her career in nursing and worked in a unionized environment in the health care industry as an educator, manager and director of nursing and played a key strategic role as Project Manager in the implementation of patient care related software hospital-wide. She returned to the health care field recently by working as the Director of HR for a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) that provided third party clinical trials to Pharmaceutical companies.

Later, Hilda joined her husband in building an award-winning, multi-million-dollar Transportation Engineering Consulting firm. Hilda managed the business operations of iTRANS Consulting which was recognized as one of the Best Workplace in Canada® award – top 10, twice and a finalist as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies™.

With the legalization of Cannabis and the upcoming availability of edibles, Hilda addresses the impacts of Cannabis in the Workplace from an understanding of a Healthcare Professional, an HR Expert and a Business Owner. She believes education of Cannabis will help professionals, businesses and employees understand the complexity in interpreting and applying the changes to the workplace when edibles become available for sale.
