Jennifer is currently the COO of Final Bell Corp, a contract manufacturer of vapes and solventless products and the founder of Total GxP, a global licensing, build and operations consultant. She was the former CEO of Safari Flower Company, a B2B licenced, indoor cultivation and processing facility in Fort Erie and produced unique cultivars at a commercial scale. The 59,000sqft facility cultivates hangdried, stem trimmed craft cannabis. Formerly the Chief Quality Officer of Newstrike/Up Cannabis (TSX.v HIP) for two facilities, an indoor facility in Brantford ON and a 4 acre greenhouse in Beamsville, ON, she lead the quality and regulatory operations for almost 3 years. She is an accredited ISO auditor. She has also utilizing lean six sigma fundamentals from her pharma background with highly regulated narcotics products.
Ms. Maccarone has also been a pivotal Quality/Regulatory expert in the cannabis industry consulting with several other applicants, 12 of which have been granted a Health Canada Cannabis licence and various licences in Jamaica.
Ms. Maccarone has been involved with more than 100 Health Canada audits, and achieved a 100% compliance rating. She is on the Niagara College Cannabis PAC, Ryerson University PAC and Seneca College Regulatory/Quality PAC and is giving back to the industry as a part-time instructor at Niagara College.
