Mark Unterbach

Mark is a lifelong Entrepreneur, with Procan Labs being his 17th startup after spending 11 years on Wall Street starting in retail and fixed income trading. Startups include a wide variety of businesses in trucking, magazine publishing, manufacturing, and quick serve restaurants. Procan Labs began in 2017 after learning about the medicinal benefits of the cannabis plant. What started as a mobile crop trimming business quickly evolved into extraction, first with CO2 for a short time before realizing the cleanliness, efficiency and scalability of ethanol. In just over 4 years, Procan has become the largest ethanol extraction company in California and likely the United States. We process 7,000 pounds of cannabis biomass each week and supply clean and compliant distillate to the largest manufacturers as well as small and medium size operations. Mark attributes the success of Procan to a small team of incredible employees that insure the quality and compliance of everything that comes into and moves out of Procan. The Company is in the process of expanding and taking its process to other states in the coming year.
