Nafisa Subedar

Pioneering Change in the Cannabis Landscape with Resilience and Passion Nafisa Subedar’s journey in the cannabis industry began in 2016, driven by her personal experience with alternative pain management solutions following a car accident. Leaving her pharmaceutical career behind, she humbly embraced the opportunity to make a difference in the Canadian cannabis space. With a strong foundation in sales, Nafisa has built a reputation for developing key relationships within national accounts and distributors. Her focus on teamwork and collaboration has contributed to the success of various cannabis companies over the years.
Starting as a Contract Medical Sales Manager at a topical cannabis company in 2016, Nafisa’s dedication and hard work helped expand the company’s presence across Canada. She connected with registered massage therapists and doctors who shared her belief in the potential of cannabis as a therapeutic solution.

In 2018, Nafisa joined Blissco Cannabis as National Sales Manager, where she demonstrated her ability to support and inspire her team. Together, they introduced 21 innovative products to the Canadian market. This collaborative effort led to the creation of a remarkable brand, which eventually attracted the attention of Supreme Cannabis, resulting in an acquisition in 2020.

Despite facing challenges during a period of corporate restructuring, Nafisa’s resilience shone through. She transitioned to The Blinc Group, a New York-based vape company, where she served as an Account Executive. Adapting to the changing landscape of B2B sales amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Nafisa continued to develop her skills in supply chain management and fostering relationships with licensed producers.

Nafisa currently serves as Director of National Sales Canada at Canna Brand Solutions, an authorized dealer of CCELL products. In this role, she continues to work diligently, contributing to the company’s growth and innovation. Her passion for the cannabis industry is evident as she supports clients in bringing their products to market, celebrating their achievements as collective milestones. Nafisa’s diverse background, including roles at Mead Johnson Nutrition, Dyson, She’s FIT!, and Fido Solutions, has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her ability to adapt and persevere in challenging situations has earned her a respected place in the industry. As a speaker at the 2019 Lift Conference in Toronto, she modestly shared her insights and passion with a broader audience, underscoring her dedication to the cannabis space. Nafisa’s unwavering commitment to improving processes and exceeding expectations has been instrumental in her journey, making her a quietly impressive figure in the cannabis industry.
