Shami Patel is the CEO of LumiGrow, a smart horticultural lighting company, and has over 18 years of experience as a senior executive and investor in high growth private and public companies. Shami brings a unique perspective to project planning for integrated technologies in large cultivation projects. Prior to joining LumiGrow, he was a partner at Pacific View Ventures and Clean Pacific Ventures, both early stage venture capital firms focused on clean resources investments in energy, agriculture and water. His operational experience includes serving as COO of Alesco Financial (NYSE: AFN), CFO of TRM Corp (NASDQ: TRMM) and CEO of iATMglobal.net (Acquired by NCR Corp). Shami received his BA in philosophy and economics from Trinity University and JD/MBA with honors from Duke University.
