Steven is 4Plant’s principal consultant and in-house cannabis industry knowledge bank. He began his cannabis industry journey in the nineties where he traveled and built his knowledge base within different roles in Holland, Austria, Spain, California, the UK, and now Canada.
Educated with a Master’s degree, he has worked in roles of sales, development, and distribution of nutrients and hydroponic equipment in Europe. He has phenohunted over 50,000 seeds, spent over 10 years growing high-quality craft indoor flower, and attended over 40 competitions globally.
His first ten years of experience with cannabis was using high production dutch indoor growing methods. He was then exposed to California genetics and outdoor organic growing methods of that region. In Southern Spain, he has made over a million feminised and regular seeds and provided white label services to multiple seed brands.
Currently, he spends his time providing a framework for licensed producers to source and develop their own unique cultivars through high-quality breeding stock, whilst supporting their production needs of high THC and yield metrics. This has resulted in a unique customized offering of genetics within the Canadian space to large-scale and micro-producers.
