Marly Tweedledoob
Marly has been a cannabis enthusiast & medical patient for over a decade. She got her start in the industry working in a cannabis lounge while completing her Honours Bachelor Degree in Philosophy & Buddhist Studies at the U of T. In 2015 she started the instagram account @tweedledoob and has organically gained 42k followers since. For the last year she has been doing freelance content creation, paid promotion, and social media consulting full time & is proud to have recently been contracted by The Supreme Cannabis Company to consult on their 7ACRES recreational brand launch. Chief Isadore Day
Isadore Day, Wiindawtegowinini (Win-daw-teh-go-nini) is an Anishinabe from beautiful Serpent River First Nation. He and his beautiful wife Angela raise their beautiful daughters in the beautiful north shore of Lake Huron in the Robinson Huron Treaty territory.
Isadore is the former Regional Chief of Ontario, and the founder and CEO of Bimaadzwin, a newly established entity that strives to become the leader in indigenous business development. With a consecutive run as an elected First Nation leader, in the summer of 2018, Chief Day stepped into the private sector and social innovation world with an eagerness to address Nationhood imperatives as a key pillar in his carefully formed business pursuit.
Bimaadzwin means life in Anishinaabe language. Isadore believes all societies on our planet have an affinity and unique perspective for life and seek to have a sustained quality of life for their citizens. The Bimaadzwin team focus is on the quality of life and the advancement of our nations by working with Indigenous communities and willing partners.
Chief Day’s background in the fields of public administration and governance, business administration and social work uniquely position him towards building on a strong foundation moving forward on the cannabis sector in Canada. The lack of consultations with First Nations on the cannabis file will need to be addressed moving forward to ensure benefits from this emerging opportunity are shared over the long term. He has a keen sense of both broad and specific challenges in the various phases of this aggressively moving lifting of prohibition on cannabis.
Since the beginning, Chief Day has been at many tables on the policy development on this important file. There are many challenges facing indigenous people who wish to be included in this fast moving sector. Bimaadzwin is well positioned to be a supportive vehicle to assist in the development of this sector, identifying the unique strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing Indigenous Peoples and Communities as cannabis industry participants.
Chief Day is adamant that Indigenous Peoples must lead with their culture and ensure that the ‘green push’ does not overtake the preservation of Indigenous values, worldview, protocols, and ceremonies that are vital to our way of life; while at the same time benefiting from the health and economic opportunities that seem to be a growing prevalence in this flourishing market.

Nathan Mison
Nathan Mison is the co-founder and CEO of Diplomat Consulting. He is the former Vice President of Government and Stakeholder Relations at Fire & Flower, where he was one of the first employees for the company from its establishment, helping to guide it through legalization and into its place as Canada’s largest independent cannabis retail company.
Prior to his work in cannabis, Nathan owned Mison & Associates, a full-scale executive counsel and public affairs company and was a founding partner in EKG Entertainment Group.
A leader in the cannabis industry, Nathan is the co-chair of the National Cannabis Working Group for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, co-chair of the International Cannabis Council, and member of the Business Industry Advisory Council for the OECD. At a provincial level he is the Past Chair of the Alberta Cannabis Council and the Working Chair of the Ontario Cannabis Policy Council for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
He is a founding member of NorthCanvas – an ancillary cannabis incubator, was a member of the Alberta Cannabis Stakeholder Group and a founding member of the Alberta Cannabis Retailers Association. He has a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Alberta and has volunteered his time as the Past President of the Valley Zoo Development Society and is the co-founder of Politics on Tap.

Kirsten is the Chief Marketing Officer at 48North. She is an entrepreneur, creative thinker and leader with over 20 years of award-winning experience. Founder of a successful graphic production company- The Production Kitchen, – a design think tank, THE INN and a Social Enterprise Non-Profit, Good Foot Delivery, a local delivery service that employs people identifying with a developmental disability.
Kirsten has been recognized by Print Action Magazine as one of Canada’s 50 Most Influential People in Graphic Communications. Also a finalist for Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the year, she has also won a number of Art Director Club of Canada, Communication Arts awards and a JUNO nomination in Album Design.

Chad Morphy is the Master Grower and Chief of Operations of Green Seal Cannabis Company, an LP in Stratford, Ontario. The company grows cannabis in a state-of-the-art, 30,000 square-foot, 5-level, vertical farm. Before Green Seal, Chad grew cannabis for 15 years under two MMAR licenses. He is also an Osteopath who created and ran a healthcare clinic for 11 years.
