With 20 years experience in regulated industries, Karina’s career has focused on compliance, quality assurance and project management. Karina manages CCI’s quality and regulatory operations to bring full services to the Cannabis industry including Cannabis Act Licensing, Edibles, Auditing, NHP, Cultivation and Security. Prior to joining CCI, Karina came from a bio/pharmaceutical and medical device background where she held Director level positions with Dalton Pharmaceutical Services, Contract Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Amorfix Life Sciences. Karina holds an MBA and B.Sc in biochemistry.
Blake Pearson, M.D. is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and a board-certified family physician in the U.S. He is a practicing family physician who has focused his practice on cannabinoid medicine and is recognized across Canada as an expert in the field, accepting referrals from across the Ontario and educating fellow medical professionals around the world.
Dr. Pearson is the Founder and Chief Medical Advisor at Greenly Medical Consulting (GreenlyMed.com), which aims to educate practitioners, allied health professionals and organizations, helping them to say on the cutting edge of cannabinoid medicine. Dr. Pearson is also the founder and Chief Medical Advisor at Greenly Health, which specializes in providing cannabinoid therapy in long-term care and retirement settings.
Prior to joining the Rapids Family Heath Team in Sarnia, Ontario, Dr. Pearson completed his residency in family medicine at Wayne State University – Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, Michigan, where he was Chief Resident.
Jonathan is a recent MSc. graduate from the University of Guelph where he studied medical cannabis irrigation strategies under Dr. Mike Dixon in the Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility (CESRF). He is the first person to attain a graduate level degree in cannabis production in North America. He also completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Environmental Engineering where he studied in fields including soil mechanics, water filtration, and fluid mechanics. Before working for Medz Cannabis, Jonathan gained experience working in agriculture as a soybean research assistant for Monsanto Canada where he was involved in large-scale agriculture and research for soybean breeding programs. He also has worked for ABcann Medicinals as a Horticultural Technician and Researcher gaining valuable experience in all aspects of medical cannabis production under the Health Canada ACMPR.
As the Director of Cultivation for Medz Cannabis Inc., Jonathan will manage all aspects of cultivation from breeding of new strains, care and maintenance of all plants, and harvesting and curing of the final product. He will also be involved in the development and running of extractions and creation of other cannabis products. His experience in this new industry along with his background in cannabis research, agriculture, and engineering make him well suited to manage the cultivation in the Medz Cannabis Inc. facilities. Working with the team as a hands-on worker and researcher will allow Medz Cannabis Inc. to grow some of the highest-quality cannabis in the industry and provide the best medicine possible its patients.

Originally from the Bronx, NY. After spending several years in central Florida working as an orderly and then an EMT/Paramedic, Dr. Rosado realized his passion for the medical profession. He started chiropractic school at Life College in Marietta, GA where he graduated cum laude with a BS degree in Clinical Nutrition and a doctor of chiropractic degree. After practicing for several years, he went on to Universidad Central del Este, in San Pedro de Macoris where in 2001 he graduated suma cum laude with his medical degree. After working as physician and clinic Director in Salt Lake City, UT, team physician for the Costa Rican Institute of Recreation and Sports, and staff physician at Hospital Mtropolitano in San Juan, PR, Dr. Rosado relocated back to Florida. In 2005 Dr. Rosado completed his MBA in Health Care Management from University of Phoenix, magna cum laude. Once back in Florida, he worked as the Director of the Communicable Disease Division/Epidemiology and immunization departments as well as the Sr. Lead Physician at St. Johns County Health Department.
Dr. Rosado then moved on to Tricounty Hospital in Williston, FL to be the medical director, and also worked in a private practice with the Institute of Medical and Cardiovascular Excellence (IME/ICE) in Williston and The Villages providing primary and functional/regenerative care. Upon resigning from both Tricounty Hospital and ICE, he worked as a temporary (Locum Tenens) physician at the North FL Evaluation and Treatment Center in Gainesville, FL, Pinellas County Jail in Clearwater, FL, Escambia County Jail in Pensacola, FL, Florida Health Source in Pierson/Deland/Deltona, FL.
Presently, Dr. Rosado is the Medical Director at Coastal Wellness Centers in Ormond Beach, FL and is providing Therapeutic Cannabis (Medical Marijuana) recommendations and Suboxone Therapy; and volunteers once a month at Shepherd’s Hope Community Clinic, in Longwood, FL.
He was on the bureau of speakers for the United For Care (Amendment 2) campaign in 2014 and 2016 and in 2015 Dr. Rosado took both the Florida Physicians Cannabis Course and the Florida Cannabis Medical Directors Course. In the Spring of 2016, he was the first to recommend high CBD:low THC in the greater Central Florida region to an adult patient with Stage 3 brain cancer and in the late summer/early fall of 2016, he was the first to recommend medical cannabis (THC:CBD 1:1), in the state of FL, to a pediatric patient, who was terminally ill. To date, he has worked with over 1,000 children, adults and geriatrics for the evaluation, recommendation and management of medical cannabis.

She returned to the health care field recently by working as the Director of HR for a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) that provided third party clinical trials to Pharmaceutical companies.
Later, Hilda joined her husband in building an award-winning, multi-million-dollar Transportation Engineering Consulting firm. Hilda managed the business operations of iTRANS Consulting which was recognized as one of the Best Workplace in Canada® award – top 10, twice and a finalist as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies™.

Danny Brody is the Vice President of Investor Relations at The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. or TGOD. Danny has played aninstrumental role in helping finance TGOD with approximately $350M raised to date including the largest cannabis IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange to date.
Mr. Brody has more than 10 years’ experience in finance and holds a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). He spent eight years in the brokerage industry specializing in fundraising, building & maintaining client portfolios, financial advising, marketing, business development, structuring, advanced due diligence, lead generation, and database management before applying those skills to the cannabis industry. Danny has conducted presentations at various conferences around the world specializing in finance and cannabis, including Asia, Europe, and throughout North America.
Neil Yorio is the Executive Vice President of LED Agricultural Lighting Research for BIOS Lighting, a company which has a focus on developing innovative solutions for the agricultural lighting market. He has participated in numerous agricultural lighting research programs with NASA’s bioregenerative life support programs for over two decades, and is recognized internationally as an expert in electrical lighting systems and controlled environment crop production. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Florida Tech. Additionally, he serves as the technology advisor for Denver Relief Consulting, is a science advisor for licensed Cannabis businesses in Ohio and Illinois, and holds an executive position with the USDA committee on controlled environment technology and use (NCERA-101). Neil is passionate about the energy savings as well as crop yield and quality improvements that LED technology offers this emerging market, and supports the unique integration challenges of LED technology with horticulture. His strong foundation of both plant-related lighting research and LED product design positions him in both understanding the plant lighting requirements and the manufacturing and performance for world-class product development.
Daniel Sax is the Founder and CEO of Sensi Properties, Canada’s first cannabis real estate investment company. Sensi works with LPs in order to unlock the capital trapped in their real estate and help them grow in a non-dilutive fashion. Daniel has a deep background in real estate acquisitions, development, asset management, workout and finance. He was worked on over $5B of real estate deals across Canada, the US, and Germany. He has a bachelors in economics from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, as well as a masters degree in real estate from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
