A recent study involving 1,886 individuals who have battled cancer revealed that almost one-half of them, at some point, have utilized marijuana, either currently or in the past. Among those who turned to cannabis postdiagnosis, the primary motive was to alleviate symptoms such as pain and sleep disturbances. Notably, approximately 20% of cancer survivors currently resort to marijuana for relief from symptoms while actively undergoing cancer treatment.

The study, published in the “Cancer Survivorship Journal,” underscored the noteworthy prevalence of marijuana use among those who have conquered cancer. A majority of respondents reported significant improvement in symptoms for which they employed cannabis.

Out of all respondents, 17.4% identified as active marijuana users, 30.5% as past users and 52.2% as noncannabis users. Among the 510 participants who turned to marijuana following their cancer diagnosis, 60% used it for sleep issues, 51% for pain management, 44% for stress, 33% for nausea, and 32% for depression or mood disorders. Additionally, one-fifth of survivors used it as part of their cancer treatment.

Most participants expressed that cannabis effectively addressed their symptoms, with 73.6% finding it greatly effective 24.4% deeming it somewhat effective. A minimal percentage, 1.9%, reported little or no efficacy across various symptoms such as sleep deficiency, pain, appetite, nausea and depression.

Regarding cancer treatment, responses were marginally less enthusiastic. The study reported that 47.7% perceived cannabis as significantly effective, 34.5% found it somewhat effective, 13.8% believed it provided very little help and 4% declared it not helpful at all.

The authors also discovered a low awareness of potential health risks associated with marijuana use, with only about 9% of respondents aware of such risks when asked about them during their cancer treatment. Among the 167 survivors who acknowledged cannabis’ potential health risks, awareness of adverse effects remained low: only 5% were aware it could trigger suicidal thoughts, 6% on intense nausea and vomiting, 11% on depression, 14% on anxiety, 31% on breathing problems, and 35% interference or interactions with cancer treatment.

Given the possibility that individuals may employ marijuana without full knowledge of its potential side effects, the authors advocate for incorporating discussions about therapeutic marijuana into a patient’s comprehensive treatment plan.

This study unfolds amid heightened anticipation within the medical community and beyond, awaiting a decision from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on the rescheduling of cannabis under the federal Controlled Substances Act. While not legalizing medical or recreational cannabis federally, rescheduling could pave the way for FDA approval of marijuana-based drugs and provide tax deductions for medical cannabis entities.

As more studies highlight the therapeutic potential of marijuana, companies such as Green Thumb Industries Inc. (CSE: GTII) (OTCQX: GTBIF) could tweak their offerings to better address specific groups of medical marijuana consumers.

Enveloping Wonder of The Moment

Enveloping Wonder of The Moment

Visible Origami

Serene… and Enveloping Wonder of The Moment

as it Really Is in The One Mind at All Times.”

God Poet Transmitting…….

Every plane of your being is an entire world unto itself. Each of these worlds exists according to the same principle but vibrates at a different speed. On the physical plane, there is always some kind of weather that you are moving through. That weather is always changing. There are specific attachments that occur in The Mind, which places you in the location where you choose to live. The same can be said for the thoughts in your head.

Your mind too is filled with weather. It accounts for where you are externally… because of where you are internally, and… where you are internally is determined by your Karma. It is the weight you carry. Your body is your cross. Various teachers have said various things, all of them designed to help you free yourself of this Karma… because… there are ways to accomplish this without going through it like an automaton operating on particular GPS coordinates.

Jesus The Christ said, “Pick up your cross and follow me.” Paramhansa (how his name was actually pronounced) said, “You should take all your troubles and burdens, and put them in a bag. And throw it in the ocean.” If you are of the more self-reliant kind, you can counteract your Karma through selfless service. This frees you of the bondage-freak persona you had been acting out as.

Karma is an experiential measurement of your self-interest, previous to this moment in which you are continuing your affair with someone who doesn’t actually exist. You’re living in a dream world, baby, and… it’s no fun. The Mind is a battleground upon which most people torment themselves over what they said and did. It’s a common thing. It is so common that it has universal applications in The Separated Mind everywhere..

The unnamed master that I met on a beach… who turned out to be God in human form… gave me a technique for freeing The Mind of its means to torment you; walking you around on a leash, instead of the other way around. He kept saying, “I don’t know.” It is a process that frees you of all the confining knowledge you carry around with you and assume to be true… when almost none of it is.

It wasn’t all that long before I was saying, “I don’t know” also. There is only one mind. Unless you know this one thing, you are missing the essential ingredient for understanding what is going on. The Man on The Beach had a much deeper draft than I, so he sucked all the thought-forms out of my head, and my head was empty for the first time in my life. Realizing I didn’t know anything… was a portal into a freedom I had not experienced before in this life.

When The Mind is emptied out, only what is essential to its existence remains. It’s a tool. It’s not you. It certainly thinks it is you, and it makes you think it is you, BUT… it’s not. Its range of comprehension is limited. It is scheming at all times to hold your attention. Insofar as he exists, The Separated Mind is The Devil.

The Mind is a trickster. It will make you see things that are not there, and… it will make you see things other than they actually are. I could go on at great length about it, but… I would prefer not to. The Mind likes to go on and on about things. It NEEDS to keep your attention. It wants to be the organ-grinder in every sense of the world. Think about that for a moment.

The Mind is an airport. Thoughts come in and land. Thoughts take off for somewhere else; sometimes they are directed somewhere and sometimes they are not. Your mind could think of a great kindness that you do not get around to performing… because… as all selfish people will tell you, “it’s the thought that counts.” However, that thought might land somewhere and get acted on by someone else. The same rule applies to thoughts of murder and every other form of harm.

Sooner or later that thought will find an opportune location to go into action. There are groups of evil magicians who gather to direct thoughts of harm to specific targets. Some of them work for governments. Some of them work for ideals they wish to maintain and disseminate. Some of them are for hire by people in the know, and so on and so forth.

You have to know who you are targeting because if the thought doesn’t have anywhere to land… it will come back to you… with more force than you sent it out with. Human auras act as trampolines and… an aura that is suffused with love… well.

Keep in mind (grin) that we are here talking about The Separated Mind, which is the intelligence behind all the personalities acting on and being acted on by everyone else. These minds are driven by the engine of Desire. Passion is the gas that fuels The Mind. Passion is neither good nor bad. Intention defines it accordingly. The greatest passion is Love, and it has degrees of intensity that are determined by its level of expression. The Sun is the source of love as it expresses here.

Of course… The Sun is an extension of that sun too bright to see, which is… itself… an extension of something ineffable and incomprehensible.

The Man I met on The Beach did not possess a separated mind, and that has been his gift to me. It makes one into a mirror of everyone else, AND… that can be a good thing and a bad thing… by turns… until one gets the hang of it, and that does not happen overnight.

One still has to live out the personal grab-bag of whatever there was left in you… when The Moment found you, and that gets sped up to the point of madness… and beyond… before it evens out into the still… serene… and enveloping wonder of The Moment as it really is in The One Mind at all times.

When you depart from The One Mind you enter on to The Plane of Suffering, and that suffering continues until you are reunited. (♫and it feels so good ♫)

The One Mind exists in all of us but it is hard to discover because The Separated Mind is like an attic or a garage that is jammed full of odds and ends. One empties it out through the good offices of a master or… by serendipitous occasion, also the good office of a master, but one not identified yet. (Or, better yet, do it all yourself – Editor!)

My mind was emptied out through brief snorts of breath expelled… that worked like a leaf blower or a fire hose… something… something. The One Mind appears as soon as all the junk and distractions that concealed it have been sent wherever it is that such thoughts and things wind up when you let them go. Sometimes The Fire of God’s Love consumes them all.

This sort of thing often results in a rising of The Kundalini… as it did in me, and… since Kundalini is a fire, it burns up everything that stands in the way of its ascent to The Bridal Chamber. I compare it to a volcano going off and not settling down for some time.

When it becomes a matter of a year or more at near the same intensity, it is sure to guarantee continuous awakenings along the way until its job is done. That job is the consuming of all the elements of the personal self that caused The Separated Mind to come into being. It is an unstoppable force. It may stop for a time here and there… as it neutralizes everything in its way. Sometimes it is waiting for points on The Celestial Clock to arrive.

None of these things are a concern for the person experiencing it. The Details are in the hands of The Master. All real masters are the same master… who was once a personality… like anyone else… until he got subsumed into The One Mind to live in an eternity outside of Time.

One enters The Deathless State in The One Mind because The One Mind exists forever and ever. Everything that exists was imagined and given birth in The One Mind, by the same process used by The Separated Mind only… it takes longer… and is seldom an exact expression of what it was intended to be.

One’s level of aspiration and degree of concentration… that the force of attention passes through… determines how quickly you arrive at The One Mind. At the same time… one should not push too hard and cause injuries that might have been avoided. Once your Faith and Certitude are at a particular state, it all takes care of itself.

It’s more a matter of setting the foundation. After that… it will rise according to how true the foundation is. It’s best to have a template based on the earlier passage of the one you follow. However… even when you have been a wild and crazy freelancer like me… sooner or later you run into a deeper groove and… by that time… you are extremely glad to have found it at all.

End Transmissions…….

‘Untangling the Quantum Entanglement’

‘Untangling the Quantum Entanglement’

‘Untangling the Quantum Entanglement’

Julian Rose

The traditional gulf between science and metaphysics is undergoing a dramatic metamorphosis as the discovery of a ‘quantum entanglement’ between particles previously recognised as being miles apart, is further revealed.

In an experiment observed by scientists, when one of these particles spins around, its sister particle – although a long way off – also spins around. Responding as though never separated.

“Quantum entanglement is the phenomenon that occurs when a duet of particles are generated, interact, or share spatial proximity in such a way that the quantum state of each particle of the group cannot be described independently of the state of the others, including when the particles are separated by a large distance. “ (Wikipedia)

The existence of such entanglement is both compelling and comprehensible, and I want to have a go at explaining why.

Let’s start by recognising that the Universe is ‘One’, all elements interconnecting with each other via invisible, energetic pulsating wavelengths.

The separation of particles that have previously been part of one mass, is only ‘separation’ on the classic physical plane, but not on the quantum plane.

Just because they no longer physically connect with each other, does not mean they are separated on the quantum level. They aren’t. They remain unified.

This is what in spiritual terminology is meant by ‘oneness’. This ‘oneness’ is vibrational. Such a state is experienced when one is attuned to essence: that which resonates ‘is-ness’ when undisturbed by external or internal mental intrusion. In this state there is no time, distance or resistance (gravity). No separation.

Although the speed of passage of a thought or energetic psychic exertion is often discussed within this context, it is not strictly relevant; because there is a simultaneity of connection occurring at well over the speed of light. At this level, the essence of the Universe is microscopically repeated in a dew drop and a sub atomic particle; all elements of existence remaining connected, therefore at one with the original manifestation. Mirrors of one originator, one source.

Viewed under a powerful microscope, the minutest of sub atomic particles are at one moment ‘specs’ and at another ‘waves’ according to Niels Bohr’s early quantum experiments. Even transforming again, into what Bohr described as a ‘dance’.

How these minute particles react depends equally upon the perspective and influence of the person engaged with them (the viewer) as with their independent existence as cosmic matter. They are simultaneously both mundane 3D and Universal God sparks.

It seems that once ‘together’ means always together in universal reality. The physical separation factor plays no part in altering this oneness.

At the most elemental levels, energy and matter are inseparable. Matter is congealed energy and takes on increasing levels of density according to its vibratory speed of resonance. The lower the speed the denser matter becomes and the more constricted becomes the movement of pure energy.

The Universe is both matter and ether. Particles or energetic expressions travelling outside of the constrictions of gravitational fields are not subject to resistance – being slowed down. Thus ‘God Speed’  is a powerful blessing for anyone wished it!

Classical science can only describe but not ‘experience’, intuitional higher consciousness which equates with ‘God Speed’. Intuitional consciousness places the experiencer within, not outside the quantum of existence.

Science looks in from ‘the outside’ but can, by intellectual effort and focussed concentration, recognise some of the component parts that make up the workings of cosmic consciousness, of Godliness; but falls short of ‘being’ (experiencing) what it describes.

Thus ‘quantum entanglement’ is not so mysterious. However exploring it requires dynamic equilibrium between the two hemispheres of the brain, which accordingly reveals this entanglement to be a manifestation of the supreme interconnectivity of God consciousness.

It is the unseen glue, that along with stars, planets and other celestial objects, holds the Universe together. God consciousness resides in the heart and is openly available to all human beings. However it sleeps within until awakened.

Huge efforts are being made to prevent humanity waking up and realising its power. Such is the paradoxical nature of existence that the struggle to overcome the dark suppressors of human evolution – both internal and external – creates the friction necessary to bring about the self realisation of our deep spiritual powers that might otherwise remain dormant.

It also equips us with the power to defeat the dark imposters and set a new agenda for the future of life on earth.

Effort is required – nothing positive comes without effort. But the pleasure arising from a growing realisation of our quantum entanglement with our Creator far exceeds the limited and transient pleasures available to us in an unrealised, largely third density (3D) state, divorced from conscious contact with the source of our existence.

Embracing such ‘an entanglement’ will bring about a metamorphosis in human consciousness and an extraordinary new era of life on earth and beyond.

An era in which no distinction can be made between God and Man.

Winter Watering 101: Plants Undercover Still Need Moisture!

Winter Watering 101: Plants Undercover Still Need Moisture!

I must be crazy hauling out my hose in the middle of winter and watering the garden! In fairness, only my container plants are undercover; I don’t water the entire garden. Mother Nature is keeping it happy with rain and snow. Plants in containers on the porch or patio and protected undercover in an unheated greenhouse or garage do need attention.

Even in the winter, plants need water to survive. Cold, just like heat, will cause soil to dry out and erode. By keeping the soil moist, it stays active, and the plants survive.

Fun Fact: Water is above freezing, giving off heat, which can help protect the plant roots in extreme cold.

How do you know if a plant needs winter watering?

Overwatering can cause the container to break due to ice expansion in the soil. Too much water will cause root rot, and the plant will die. I use a water meter to gauge the moisture in the soil before hauling out the hose.

Alternatively, you can feel the top of the pot to see if the soil is damp or gauge water needs by the color of the soil. Dark soil indicates moisture in the pot, while sandier-colored soil suggests the pot is dry and time to water.

Watering Tips

When it comes time to water, I carefully pick the time of day. The best time is around noon when temperatures are above freezing on a sunny day. This gives the plants time to absorb the water at the highest heat of the day instead of at night when there’s a greater potential for freezing.

I also make sure to check the containers that I’ve wrapped for the winter. Just poke a tiny hole in the burlap or other material you’ve used, insert a water meter, or feel the soil to see if it’s wet.

Watering uncovered plants during the winter.

When watering, I pour into the soil or a bottom tray for three to five seconds. Underwatering in winter is much better than overwatering, especially if you are watering from the bottom onto a tray.

If the plant isn’t thirsty, it won’t suck the water up, and this could lead to root rot or freezing that clogs the drain holes of the container. If the water is still in the tray after a day or so, empty it.

How often should you water containers undercover in winter? That depends on your climate, but as a general rule, only three or four times during the season is enough to keep the plants moist and alive. And that’s all that matters.

A micro-cultivator with a creative solution

A micro-cultivator with a creative solution

Enter the world of Habitat Craft Cannabis. Here, we practice a unique way of growing and maximizing our 200m³ micro capacity through our chosen method of growing: Aquaponics. This innovative farming approach intertwines aquaculture (Pacific Coho fish farming) with the cultivation of plants, creating a compelling story around water and fertilizer sustainability. However, it is our intense focus on production workflow that has made the difference when it comes to profitability.

Production at Habitat reveals a cultivation space divided into six rooms, each dialed in to the specific cultivar in production. Although the room size is only 320 square feet, these rooms were engineered to operate on a staggered planting and harvesting schedule, which allows for an extra crop per year per room and requires only two full-time staff members to manage all cultivation tasks within an eight-hour day.

The consistent workflow at our Chase, B.C. operation facilitates the creation of a dedicated full-time trim and packaging team and creates an organizational structure that is ready to scale. As the industry is now well aware, scaling up doesn’t solely entail increasing production, it necessitates the creation of processes that can adapt and translate easily as the business expands. It’s about growing smarter, not just bigger.

The power of a unique story

In a crowded market where competition is fierce, cannabis businesses recognize the power of a unique story. While quality and price are the tickets to getting into the game, a memorable brand ethos is needed to capture loyalty among consumers.

Our use of aquaponics and other sustainable features is one such example. However, in an industry where innovation is the norm, other brands like Pistol & Paris and Organnicraft have also found their distinctive voices in the micro space, emphasizing countercultural rebellion and artisanal craftsmanship respectively. These brands demonstrate the impact of storytelling in forging connections with buyers and consumers and are excellent models of success.

Venturing into new horizons

For micro cultivators, expansion doesn’t stop at the cultivation room; it extends into the exploration of new market opportunities including exports. A micro’s capacity to navigate the intricacies of multiple sales channels speaks to their ability to adapt and scale while keeping a lean work force and meticulous organizational structure.

Amidst skepticism enveloping the Canadian cannabis market, it’s crucial for industry players to continue to acknowledge and leverage Canada’s international reputation as the gold standard in medical cannabis production.

With the export market primarily centered around medical cannabis, Canadian companies, including micro cultivators, hold a unique advantage in helping establish a robust global network.
