What are terpenes? Complex biological scent molecules that give all living things their aroma. In cannabis, terpenes also determine flavor and effect. Renowned cultivator and breeder Kevin Jodrey has devised an interpretive format of Fuel/Earth and Fruit/Floral to describe any scent combination within cannabis to help specify not only aroma and flavor expressions, but also classify effects within various varietals.
