Irene Donohue is both a Medical Cannabis patient and Certified Educator who has spent the last ten years researching, learning and practicing medical cannabis therapy. Irene is certified as a Cannabis Educator in both Canada and the USA, along with additional certifications in Natural Cosmetic Formulating, Practical Cosmetic Formulating as well as Cosmetic Raw Materials. Irene is the Founder of Medical Cannabis Concierge Services. In 2014, she obtained her MMPR (later ACMPR), a license to grow cannabis for medical purposes, and has since been growing in both personal and designated grow categories. Irene has been involved with pre-legalization round tables, worked with Keystone Labs in the development of cannabis oil testing kits, collaborated with the UofA chemistry department for research included in a published presentation. She currently sits on Alberta Health Services Provincial Advisory Council to Seniors and Continuing Care, and has collaborated with Policy and Procedures division in regards to cannabis in continuing care. Irene has developed a pain relieving topical, then secured a B2B deal with a provincial LP for retail distribution. MCCS empowers seniors with knowledge to make informed decisions about cannabis use for health and wellness through educational presentations as well as private consultations where individual consumption and dosing strategies for therapeutic purposes are implemented. Irene lives on an acreage in Central Alberta with her husband, Mark. Along with Cannabis, Irene’s passions include; golfing, gardening and her 10 grandkids.
Ian Davidson has over twenty years of experience working as a cannabis advocate, activist, businessman. He has been a co-founder and Executive at five cannabis companies in both the US and Canada including Biologic Systems, Biologic Crop Solutions, Segra International, MyFlora DNA, and most recently HiiH labs where he serves as CEO. In his current role at HiiH Labs Ian is focused on curating and validating cultivars for commercial production. He has extensive knowledge related to genetics, nursery operations, pathogen testing, cultivation and supply chain logistics.
I am an Agronomist with 25+ years of experience, specializing in Crop Production, Plant Breeding, Seed Production, Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, and Agricultural Business. I managed Agricultural and Production Research programs in multiple crops in both Europe and North America. As a scientist and inventor I have a history of patentable innovations, multi-million-dollar improvements. I am experienced in stewardship, regulatory, people and project management. I am certified Six-Sigma Black Belt, Lean Practitioner, CSGA Plant Breeder, Pesticide Applicator (CPA), 4R Nutrient Stewardship, Canada GAP Auditor, GMP, QA Auditor. I sat at Boards of Directors of five industry and political organizations.
Luc is a true veteran of the industry who’s experience precedes the Recreational market. He possesses a passion for the craft of cultivation and a relentless thirst for knowledge. Luc hopes to able to help other growers in their search for knowledge, so that they may benefit from his triumphs and failures, as he benefited from those who came before him.
Nicole Stevenson is a lifelong cannabis advocate with deep roots as both a consumer and entrepreneur. As the Regional Sales Manager at Route 1 Agency and owner of Integrity Media and Publishing agency, Nicole leverages her expertise in marketing, sales, and design to drive progress in the cannabis industry. She excels in helping brands and retailers make significant impacts through strategic creativity, value-based marketing, and community engagement. In addition to serving on the ACMLA board as Community Outreach and Social Media chair, Nicole created and instructs the Cannabis Marketing & Social Media program at Elevated Learning Academy. As a passion project, she founded the book “High Aspirations: Budding Dreams to Harvesting Hope,” which is due to be published soon, and she is also the creator of Cola Streetwear, an apparel brand celebrating cannabis culture and community. Nicole’s lifelong dedication to the cannabis plant drives her continued commitment to consumer education, creative strategy, and fostering meaningful community impact.
