Marie Sweeney

Marie Sweeney is a Cannabis & Psychedelics Licensing Sales Professional at Cannabis License Experts. With 5+ years helping cannabis licensing applicants and licensed LPs with achieving their licensing and compliance goals combined with her personal legacy and extensive start-up experience she has chosen to focus on the evolving regulatory framework under the Cannabis Act, Marie uses that experience to share her knowledge and help CLE clients plan to navigate their own pathway to success. By focusing on licensing as well as regulatory and quality requirements, Marie has been able to put the business management diploma she earned at George Brown College along with a Cannabis specific Quality Assurance and Management diploma from AAPS in Toronto to good use. Over the years, her passion for educating and nurturing new industry players and for supporting quality products has garnered some recognition by winning the CannaReps Blind ID challenge in Ontario 2022 as well as being named one of the winners at Kind Magazines Toronto Budtender Olympics 2022 and she has also been published and interviewed for several industry publications and media platforms. Marie may spend their days hard at work for CLE, but it’s seeing the hard work of their clients translated into products on shelves of retailers that gets her up in the morning. When they’re not at CLE, Marie offers Cannabis Sommelier services and is an avid Dr. Who fan and loves spending time at industry events meeting and catching up with fellow cannabis industry members and advocates.
