Max started in cannabis after graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelors in both marketing and business management. At the beginning of 2018, Max joined Procan Labs as the Director of Operations and secured the company’s first manufacturing license a month after licensing was available in the Adult Use space in California. Additionally, Max has been responsible for helping to develop improved extraction techniques, managing compliance, inventory management, and lab training at Procan. Over the past few years Procan has grown into one of California’s largest cannabis extractors, processing 7000 pounds of biomass per week while maintaining a staff of about 10 lab technicians and minimal employee turnover.
