With 31 years of cannabis cultivation experience, Dustan has dedicated a good portion of his life to cannabis. He was a founding partner and Head of Cultivation/Master Grower for Parkland Flower Inc. – which in 2022 won Canadian Craft Producer of the Year under his direction. In 2024, Dustan was named one of Canada’s Top 50 Cannabis Leaders. In 2026, he will be bringing back the brand he’s known for, and developing an AirBnBud in Spring Lake, Alberta, where people can have an immersive cannabis experience while enjoying their stay at one of the cannabis themed tiny cabins.
Dustan is also a cultivation consultant with Chief Grow Officer Consulting – helping Licensed Producers and growers across Canada and the United States with their operations and genetics. He is currently working on several cannabis projects – involving developing a cultivar which will help in the battle against opioid addiction – developing a drought resistant cultivar – and another having to do with resistance to HLVD and other viroids which are a serious threat to the cannabis industry.
