Cameron Scott is a recent graduate of Simon Fraser University, where he completed his MSc in plant pathology in Dr. Zamir Punja’s lab. He has spent the last five years working with Licensed Producers of cannabis across Canada. This work has focused largely on the diagnosis and management of established and emerging fungal diseases, both pre and postharvest, in cannabis production. Whilst working in this industry, Cameron has been an author on several peer reviewed publications. These focused on epidemiology, management of powdery mildew, and root and crown rot pathogens of cannabis, as well as general pathogens and molds that affect the production and quality of cannabis. He has presented this research at conferences in Canada as well as the United States.
