Michael McTaggart

Michael McTaggart is a partner in PricewaterhouseCooper’s Corporate Advisory and Restructuring practice in Canada.

Michael qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in 2007 and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) in 2008. He is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Practitioner (CIRP) and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. Michael’s professional experience focuses on advising corporations, alternative investors and financial institutions with respect to the development of financing and cash flow strategies. He has operated companies in special situations, performed in-depth analysis of companies to develop recapitalization plans as well as implemented strategic turnarounds and cost reduction plans.

Michael has been involved in and supervised a large number of reorganization, insolvency, deleveraging and turn around transactions. Michael has experience in a wide variety of industries, including cannabis; financial services; retail, real estate; manufacturing; consumer services; and government.
