I am a Canadian combat veteran, a patient, and an advocate for cannabis as holistic plant medicine.
I first discovered cannabis and its therapeutic benefits as a treatment for my PTSD and chronic pain somewhere in 2009. I went down the rabbit hole of seed to sale, which in the legacy era was not easy. I started growing for myself and then registered under the MMAR Health Canada license and grew for myself and other patients. I gained experience in breeding, cultivation/propagation, R&D, production/product development and educating patients on dosage and usage. I have experience in multiple clinic start ups, business ecommerce (East Coast Seeds), designing and constructing grow rooms for patience, and helping veterans learn about and utilize cannabis as medicine.
I created Valor Wellness to fill a need for quality service and education. The veteran and their healing needed to be put first. Recovery is not a one size fits all formula for a veteran on their wellness journey. I am using my area of expertise to raise the standard for our veterans in quality care and I am partnering with other veteran focused businesses and services to provide holistic options at all levels of recovery. We meet the veteran where they are. Lots of great researched and reviewed community options to give veterans more access and choice of the services they require and need.
