Carolyn Cudmore is an East Coast native who moved to Vancouver to pursue a career in video games as a Graphic UI designer. After years at the screen, she shifted gears to launch a successful catering company, channeling her creativity into food and craft. Drawn to Vancouver’s cannabis culture and anticipating legalization, Carolyn entered the legacy market, working in dispensaries and ACMPR grows, before founding The Preroll Factory, the precursor to the Canna Czar brand.
Her curiosity for innovation led her to explore new ways to use cannabis products as ingredients, including TWAX (to wax) – the art of infusing flower with concentrates, long before “infused preroll” was a buzzword. That drive to refine techniques and recipes culminated in the creation of the Canna Czar Twax Blunt, a handcrafted, four-times-infused organic hemp blunt wrap designed to deliver a premium smoking experience. In partnership with Village Farms Canadian Cannabis, Carolyn continues to help bridge the gap from legacy craft to legal production, bringing her artisanal approach and focus on exceptional user experiences to every venture.
