A recent study into the sleep habits of marijuana users facing sleep difficulties shows that a majority of participants prefer cannabis over other sleep aids, citing improved outcomes the following morning and fewer side effects. The consumption of CBD, THC and myrcene-infused joints or vaping products emerged as particularly popular choices among participants.

Contrasted with conventional sleep aids or abstaining from them altogether, respondents conveyed a heightened sense of refreshment, focus and improved functionality in the mornings after using cannabis. This was coupled with a decrease in nausea and headaches. However, users did acknowledge some adverse effects, such as waking up feeling groggy, anxious and irritable.

The study, undertaken by psychology researchers from Washington State University (WSU) and published in the “Exploration of Medicine” journal, is the first to compare marijuana to both over-the-counter (OTC) sleeping medication and prescription sleep aids (PSAs). According to Carrie Cuttler, coauthor of the study, cannabis did not exhibit a hangover effect, differentiating it from alcohol and long-acting sedatives. However, lingering effects SUCH AS sleepiness and mood alterations were reported.

The survey, conducted through the Strainprint medical cannabis app, involved 1,216 participants. A substantial 64.9% disclosed experiencing sleep issues for a minimum of five years, and nearly 70% claimed to have utilized marijuana for sleep aid for at least a year. About 38% had been employing marijuana for sleep assistance for one to three years.

Approximately 82% of marijuana users do not currently rely on PSAs or OTC sleep medications. However, more than one-half admitted to having used those substances in the past, signaling a shift toward perceiving marijuana as a superior option. More than 50% of respondents also revealed using marijuana every night to facilitate sleep, predominantly through smoking joints (46.1%), vaping flowers (42.6%) or marijuana oil (42.5%) before bedtime. Edibles and vape pens were chosen by nearly one-third, while 14.6% opted for cannabis capsules.

Although inhaled forms of cannabis were generally favored, the researchers noted a preference for smoking and vaping among those with sleep issues due to the rapid onset and the high percentage reporting difficulty falling asleep. The surprising observation was the lesser popularity of edibles or capsules, which have a more prolonged effect and could be more beneficial for maintaining sleep.

Concerning product composition, most participants favored high-THC products (60%), with 21.7% choosing a balanced THC–CBD blend. Myrcene emerged as the most popular terpene (49%), followed by linalool, limonene and beta-caryophyllene. Respondents attributed the positive effects of marijuana on sleep to its ability to relax both the body (81%) and mind (83%). It was also seen as preventing sleep interruptions (36.3%) and promoting deeper (56.2%) and longer (41.6%) sleep.

Among the 526 participants who used prescription and OTC sleep aids alongside marijuana, a significantly higher number reported feeling more refreshed, focused and functional after using marijuana compared to other sleep aids or none at all. They also experienced less nausea and fewer headaches. However, some side effects, such as dry mouth and red eyes, were more prevalent with cannabis use. Notably, participants reported more extended sleep durations and fewer nighttime awakenings when using cannabis alone compared to traditional sleep aids. Despite potential side effects, researchers suggested that cannabis’s side effects might be more tolerable than those associated with conventional sleep aids.

Acknowledging the survey’s bias toward individuals already using cannabis, the researchers stressed the need for future research to incorporate more objective sleep measures for a comprehensive understanding of cannabis’s effects on sleep.

It is eye-opening that despite what the prohibitionists say about marijuana, consumers are increasingly relying on products from cannabis companies such as SNDL Inc. (NASDAQ: SNDL) to attain improved sleep and reduce their reliance on prescription sleep aids.

Wonderland Miami 2023 Focuses on Practical Psychedelic Business Updates, Marvels

Wonderland Miami 2023 Focuses on Practical Psychedelic Business Updates, Marvels

From Nov. 9-11, 2023, hundreds of speakers and exhibitors as well as thousands of attendees congregated at Ice Palace Film Studios to discuss the applications of psychedelics during Wonderland Miami 2023. Unlike last year’s iteration of the conference, which focused on the hallmarks of a maturing sector, the 2023 Wonderland Conference honed in on the wonders of psychedelics and their practical business applications.

The event featured more than 250 speakers, 60 exhibitors and close to 5,000 attendees diving deep into the functionality of various psychedelics and how they can help to improve human health and wellness. The third Wonderland conference covered the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in researching psychedelics and how hallucinogenic drugs can aid in positive personal transformation by helping patients create a positive soul/body consciousness.

Some speakers also discussed the possibility of using psychedelics to extend life and how this specific application could affect the future of the human species.

Of the total 134 sessions held at the Wonderland Miami 2023, 24 centered on the topic of extending life through psychedelics, a testament to the popularity of longevity through psychedelics. Kernel’s CEO Bryan Johnson noted that he is currently aging slower than 97% of 36-year-olds thanks to a nutrition program his firm developed.

This year’s conference also had a major focus on technology-derived discoveries scientists have made about psychedelics in recent years.

Trippy VC cofounder Rabbi Harry Rozenberg talked about how psychedelics may have the ability to “heal hate” in one of the conference’s most fascinating presentations while Maxwell Biosciences’ chairman and CEO Scotch McClure discussed how hallucinogens can affect an individual’s worldview by affecting their microbiome. He mentioned wellness research that could allow physicians to eliminate viruses from the human body and potentially extend human lifetimes to well over 125 years.

McClure explained that the body is all “about designed obsolescence” and theorized that washing out all the toxins could optimize the body’s functionality, allowing humans to extend their lifespans.

On the other hand, Mindstate Design Labs CEO Dillian DiNardo talked about his company’s efforts to use personal accounts from psychonauts about their psychedelic experiences to build an AI model capable of dissecting the components of the biology of human consciousness and quantifying the psychedelic experience. DiNardo noted that each psychedelic interacts with the brain in its unique way and said his company is working on technology that could connect subjective psychedelic experiences to the specific psychedelic drug, its pharmacology, to the individual taking the psychedelic.

With more of these types of conferences being organized, the public will develop a greater awareness of the work that entities such as Mind Medicine Inc. (NASDAQ: MNMD) (NEO: MMED) (DE: MMQ) are doing to advance the field of psychedelic medicine.

Enjoying Your Enslavement

Enjoying Your Enslavement

Unorthodoxy

Enjoying Your Enslavement

Excerpts from my book “An Unorthodox Truth”

Before we delve into this chapter, let’s consider two important questions: Why do we love our government? Why do we tolerate our rulers? One might argue that we don’t actually love them, we simply tolerate them. However, this explanation fails to address why we accept burdensome policies imposed on us.

To understand why we tolerate our government’s control over us, it is necessary to explore the etymology of the word “Government.” Etymology refers to the study of the origin and evolution of words. By examining the meaning behind the term, we can gain valuable insights.

According to

Government – The Biggest Scam in History,” the word “Government” can be translated to “Mind Control” in Latin. The root words “Gubenare” and “Mens/Mente” mean control and mind, respectively.

So, why do we tolerate those who seek to control our minds? It almost feels like we are part of a cult. When we closely examine the situation, we can see that this analogy is not far-fetched. Let’s explore the cult of statism, the belief in the legitimacy of the state’s authority.

Statism is a political doctrine that asserts the legitimacy of the state’s power, including its influence over economic and social policies. However, when we consider statism from Etienne’s perspective, we see that it is a completely indoctrinated belief system. It is taught to the majority of the public through government-controlled education and other institutions.

Statism can be seen as a pseudo-religious belief. The state or government is not a tangible entity but rather a supernatural concept that promises to create a better world for its believers. This belief system is ingrained in our minds through repeated practices and rituals.

Recommended Reading: The Ritual of Mask Wearing During The Pandemic

Just like religious practices, the repetition of certain habits reinforces the ideology of statism. Government employs various practices repeatedly to ensure its ideas become deeply ingrained in our subconsciousness. In the next chapter, we will explore how the education system plays a significant role in fostering this adoration for government.

Here’s the link to where you can order my book:

Let Me See The Book!

To draw a parallel with religious reverence, the government is treated as something holy and physical. In Christianity, for example, the Bible is considered divine and treated with utmost respect. Similarly, flags are used as symbolic tools to indoctrinate populations into the pseudo-religious cult of statism. In the United States, children are required to pledge allegiance to the flag from a young age. Organizations like the Cub Scouts and military academies further reinforce this artificial reverence through solemn rituals associated with flag handling.

The cover of Etienne’s book showcases young children displaying intense devotion to their country through the flag and the pledge of allegiance. This same passion, reminiscent of praying in church during childhood, is now directed towards their country.

Look at the children who appear to be praying to their country

In every religion, there is a physical representation, a temple, where one can witness the work of God. In the case of statism, this representation manifests in government buildings. If you have ever been to Washington D.C., you have unknowingly participated in a ritual of indoctrination into this religion. Etienne explains:

In the United States, many government schools, Scout troops, military trainings/postings, veteran’s groups, controlled opposition “protests”, etc. offer optional low-cost/price-supported trips to Washington D.C./“Mecca.”

Impressionable middle school kids/high-school students/scouts/recruits/soldiers are taken into the “cathedral” of the Capital building and the ‘temples’ along the Potomac and Mall and shown the ‘deities’ in solemn reverence. They are subtlety conditioned into the hidden religion of Statism.

Many of our everyday practices appear religious when seen from a different perspective. Our admiration for politicians parallels the role of priests, and the pledge resembles the Lord’s prayer. As we discussed earlier, schools can also function as churches, continuously indoctrinating us into the beliefs of the state.

Through this indoctrination, we become blind to the ways in which we are controlled. But before we delve into the techniques used to control us, let’s ponder the question: do we truly need a government?

Between the Lies of the Anthrax Narrative

By

The narrative of an Anthrax bioweapons attack is again in the “news cycle” and remains prominent on the CDC website.

A November 15, 2023 CDC news brief updated advice for healthcare providers in preventing and treating anthrax should a “wide-area aerosol release of B. anthracis” occur.

CDC has classified B. anthracis as a “category A” organism of concern because an attack with B. anthracis would happen via aerosolized exposure. How does the CDC know that any attack would be in an aerosolized form? Does the CDC have a crystal ball? The CDC did seem to know the problems of the COVID19 vaccines before they were distributed:

Americans need to be prepared for the possibility that they may feel a little unwell after they get a coronavirus vaccine, if one is authorized. – CDC Prevention Advisory Committee, November 23, 2020.

The CDC knows this because it owns the Anthrax isolate patent that was funded by the U.S. Government.

Symptoms of Anthrax per CDC

  • Appearance of small welts or sores that are itchy.
  • Confusion or dizziness
  • Cough
  • The sore developing into a blister that turns into a skin ulcer.
  • Nausea and loss of appetite ( if the infection is through ingestion).
  • Swelling in the neck area.
  • Headache & fatigue
  • Sweats
  • Shortness of breath
  • Diarrhea accompanied by severe abdominal pain.

If exposed to the CDC anthrax antigen, the CDC recommends Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), suggesting immediate vaccination and antimicrobial therapy (Ciprofloxacin and Doxycycline are first-line options). The CDC says a new and improved anthrax vaccine became available in 2019. However, on July 20, 2023, the U.S. FDA approved a newer anthrax adjuvanted vaccine, Cyfendus for use in adults 18-65 exposed to anthrax as a countermeasure.  Where there is one countermeasure there are always more.

On November 1, 2023, GC Biopharma Corp. a Korean biotech company filed for approval of its novel recombinant protein anthrax vaccine called GC-1109.

Symptoms of the Anthrax Vaccine per CDC

Mild problems following an anthrax vaccine can include:

  • Reactions where the shot was given; redness, swelling, soreness or tenderness, a lump or bruise
    • Itching
    • Muscle aches or temporary limitation of movement in the arm
    • Headache
    • Feeling tired
    • Fainting
    • Ringing in the ears
    • dizziness
    • Vision problems
    • Gastrointestinal adverse events

Gulf War Syndrome

The last time Anthrax was in the news cycle, it occurred in 1991 when the squalene-adjuvanted anthrax vaccine was experimentally given to tens of thousands of Gulf War soldiers. Consequences of that experiment resulted in severe, permanent injuries. Squalene antibodies caused a cascade of autoimmune reactions known as Gulf War Syndrome (GWS).

A 2000 report published in Experimental and Molecular Pathology titled, “Antibodies to Squalene in Gulf War Syndrome,” described symptoms including severe headaches, nausea, muscular pain, joint swelling, short term memory loss, night sweats, depression. Autoimmune conditions ranged from fibromyalgia, lymphadenopathy, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, autoimmune thyroid disease, chronic fatigue syndrome to malar rashes, chronic headaches, non-healing skin lesions, musculoskeletal disorders (ALS), among others.

More than twenty years later thousands of veterans are still ill. It is not clear if problems in the 1991 Gulf War soldiers arose from the squalene (MF59) emulsion used as an adjuvant, or from the deadly anthrax toxin.

Due to questions about the contents and safety of the vaccine; in October 2004: The Department of Defense was banned from forcing vaccines on troops:

US District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ruled that it was illegal for the federal government to mandate anthrax vaccinations. Judge Sullivan banned the Pentagon from forcing military personnel serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, South Korea, and part of Asia and Africa to get the anthrax shots without their prior consent. The military could not require the vaccine until the FDA approved it for the specific use of inhaled anthrax. – Hill & Ponton Disability Attorneys, Dec. 2020, updated

In general, adjuvants, such as squalene are added to vaccines (flu shots) to hyper-stimulate the immune system. They are designed to stimulate antibody creation and remain in the body for a prolonged reaction. The new class of adjuvants are comprised of phospholipids (surfactants), which also happen to make up the membrane of every human cell. Using recombinant DNA technology, phospholipids are combined with recombinant proteins and engineered in a way to be structurally and functionally identical to their natural counterparts. As such, the body can create antibodies to its own tissues in an attack of the Self.

A Little Anthrax History

imageRoland Steinmann from Pixabay” width=”200″ height=”300″>

B. anthracis (anthrax) was discovered in 1875 by the German physician and one of the founders of microbiology, Robert Koch (1843-1910) who developed Koch’s Postulates. He also discovered the deadly toxins cholera and tuberculosis, then was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1905.

Anthrax had also been produced in a Russian lab since before the 1920s. In May 1926, the first report of a new anthrax strain with enhanced virulence was filed, resulting in a 100% increase in mortality.  By 1930, Germany had a bioweapons facility. By 1935, the Russians had developed a human anthrax vaccine.

Historically, B. anthracis strain, isolated by L. Pasteur, was used as the first live attenuated bacterial vaccine on animals.

Today, many countries have developed weaponized anthrax through genetic manipulation using bacteria and insects.  According to the NIH, Russia created anthrax by introducing an “alien gene” into the highly toxic Baccillus Anthracis bacteria. The new NIH version of anthrax is resistant to antibiotics.

They used an alien gene and genetically altered bacterial immunological properties to produce a deadly pathogen to Humans. Where did they get an alien gene from? A UFO crash perhaps? Negotiations with other beings? Your guess is as good as mine….I found a patent with a method for removing plasma (DNA) from Bacillus anthracis bacteria using CRISPR/Cas9 system and it’s owned by China. This is how they get Mycoplasmas. —  Ariana Love, ND Nov. 23, 2021

The process that began before 1950 is called Cross-Species-Genomics. Its purpose? “To generate disease models.” In other words, to produce the deadly biowarfare agent for use in vaccines. The science reveals that deadly agents do not cross the species barrier unless genetic modification is used in a lab setting. A 2002 study in the Journal Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology states:

The assessment of species barriers has relied on the development of a clinical disease in inoculated animals. On this basis there is a highly efficient barrier limiting transmission…

After 1979, the Soviet’s preferred a bioweapon of inhaled anthrax due to undifferentiated symptoms that resemble a cold or flu. This version was genetically attenuated sometime before 2006 by the NIH.

British SIS intelligence reports from 1924 confirmed the use of anthrax shells (with a capacity of 2 liters/shell), bombs, and mortars.

There are 232 B. anthracis (anthrax) genomes available in the GenBank database.  Today, Two anthrax strains are licensed for use in humans, and two patents specify “Aerosolized Anthrax Vaccine” containing spores and DNA plasmids.  Israel, NIH, and China turned their latest anthrax bioweapon into an attenuated antigen to be used in vaccine as an adjuvant to stimulate an immune response.

The Anthrax Adjuvant?

What does CDC fail to mention on its website?

Anthrax is being used as a “vaccine adjuvant” in all Covid-19 injections and swabs.  There is a long list of adjuvants for COVID19 “vaccines.”  At last one that contains anthrax is found in Alhydrogel. Specifically, the Bacillus anthracis protective antigen—known as PA (see Anthrax toxin—combined with various adjuvants such as aluminum hydroxide (Alhydrogel).

In the April 2021 Journal Nature, the study, “Adjuvantng a subunit COVID-19 vaccine to induce protective immunity,” the reference to Alhydrogel is listed under Adjuvant Formulations and immunization:

Alum (Alhydrogel 2%) was purchased from Croda Healthcare (batch 0001610348)

According to a 2021 study in Molecular Cell, Anthrax is developed to “regulate gene expression by binding to DNA sequences and modulating transcriptional activity through their effector domains.” So Anthrax has more than one function.

According to a 2005 study on the improved Anthrax licensed vaccines, the molecular basis of Anthrax “vaccines” uses recombinant purified antigen (PA) and contains spores and DNA plasmids for wide-spread use as cutaneous injection or inhalation.

Natural Born Killers to Fight Anthrax

The reason to be aware of any possible aerosolized anthrax bacterium spore release is to know the natural remedies that exist so you have a choice between consenting to an experimental vaccines and prescribed pharmaceuticals or natural options.

As a disclaimer, nothing suggested in this article is intended to replace consulting with a medical expert if you have a medical problem. Everyone should take responsibility for his or her own health and do your own research. That said, the following herbs and foods are commonly known remedies to help enhance the immune system, your built-in defense system, and can be incorporated in or with meals.

  1. Garlic displays potent anti- anthracis activity, according to the 2021 Journal of Ethnopharmacology. So start thinking of your favorite garlic dishes to create in the kitchen. Alternatively, you can make a tea. Peel and crush into a fine paste with water. Mix paste in two glasses of warm water. Drink in two doses: morning, before bedtime. Continue for 10 days.
  2. Oil of Oregano
  3. Homeopathic anthracinum – super-diluted and potentized extracts of the anthrax bacteria itself to boost immunity on a nanoscale.
  4. Herbs:
    1. Wintergreen essential oil – for discomfort in bones, muscles and joints. Add a few drops to olive oil and apply to the soles of the feet. You can also add 3-5 drops to a bath.
    2. White Fir – oxygenates with antiseptic properties known for us in disease caused by bacteria. Mix essential oil with olive oil or use essential oil as aromatherapy.
    3. Thyme and Melissa (lemon balm) – Fill a capsule with 12 drops of Thyme and 1 drop of Melissa.
    4. Spruce – essential oil has oxygenating properties with support to the nervous and respiratory systems.
    5. Idaho Tansy – stimulates the immune system. Can be applied topically against infection or on wounds.
    6. Savory and Oregano oil – both herbs are potent antimicrobials.
    7. Astragalus root powder Chaparral power Tea – Mix 2 teaspoons of each herb in 2 glasses of warm water. Strain and add organic honey. Drink twice during the day.
    8. Echinacea – boil 2 tsp. root powder in two glasses of water. Strain. Drink twice daily for a week or more.
    9. Bee Propolis – a natural immune booster
    10. Gingko Biloba – a natural immune booster

PEI sold nearly $23 million worth of cannabis in 2022-23

PEI sold nearly $23 million worth of cannabis, the equivalent of 4,094 kg, in the 2022-23 fiscal year period from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023.

This represents an increase of more than half a million dollars from the previous year, with the province bringing in $6.3 million in revenue from sales and its share of excise taxes.

Total sales in the province were $22,500,680, compared to $21,894,379 the previous year. Net income was $2,909,096, compared to $2,609,580 the previous year.

Despite being the least populated Canadian province, with around 174,000 residents, PEI says its Charlottetown store, one of just four stores on the island, is one of the busiest in the country. Online sales in PEI accounted for just 0.87% of total sales, or $194.991 worth of cannabis.

The province has plans for a fifth store just southeast of Charlottetown, in Stratford.

Just under half of sales were dried flower, while 23.7% were pre-rolls. Concentrates represented just under 10% of total sales, while ingested extracts and edibles were each just under 5%.

Prince Edward Island Cannabis Management Corporation is a wholly-owned Crown Corporation of the Province of Prince Edward Island. It is responsible for the distribution and sale of adult-use cannabis throughout the province.

A handful of cannabis producers operate within the maritime province, including Auxly, FIGR, Remidose, Mila Supply, Green Harvest Organics, Retro Cannabis, and FOG Organics.

420 with CNW — Gallup Poll Finds Most Americans Disenchanted with Federal Drug Policy

image

A new survey has found that more than 50% of Americans believe the country has lost ground in the war on drugs. The poll, conducted by Gallup, also showed that 24% of respondents believed America had made progress. This is quite a difference from responses given on the same query in a 2019 survey, which stood at 30% for losing ground to 41% for making progress.

This difference can be attributed to growing concern and awareness about the opioid epidemic, which has seen many individuals fall victim to drugs such as fentanyl. The shift may also reflect increased awareness on how the criminalization of drugs by the federal government has failed to produce any positive outcomes.

The analysis also showed that 75% of Republicans believed America had made no progress on illicit drugs while only 12% held positive views. Most Independents also held negative views as per the poll results, with 52% believing that the situation was worsening and only 22% believing progress had been made. With regard to Democrats, 27% felt the situation was getting worse while 40% believed they had seen improvements.

The report noted that it was possible that the media had played a role in fueling the negative perspective on the drug war, with some coverage feeding into a narrative that associated the misuse of some substances with progressive politicians and policies. The poll also found that about 74% of Americans thought the drug problem was extremely severe, with Independents and Republicans rating the situation in their local areas similarly at almost 40%. Democrats, on the other hand, were less likely to believe this, with only 27% reporting these sentiments.

While the drug issue in the country wasn’t explicitly defined, Gallup noted that the results were released at a time when the number of individuals succumbing to overdoses of dangerous drugs was rapidly increasing. In its conclusion, the polling firm stated that the general public was the most pessimistic it had ever been with regard to the illicit drug problem in the country. It further noted that increasing concern about the nation’s progress could make drugs an even more significant campaign issue in the 2024 presidential elections, which would in turn put more pressure on candidates to formulate plans to address the issue.

Thus far, all Republican primary debates for presidential candidates have touched on the fentanyl overdose epidemic, with candidates such as former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie emphasizing the importance of focusing on addiction treatment and preventative care. Others, such as the current governor of Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis, have called for a militarized response that targets drug traffickers.

The discontent that the American population has regarding the way the federal government has handled drug policy echoes the frustrations that the marijuana industry and its actors such as TerrAscend Corp. (TSX: TSND) (OTCQX: TSNDF) go through as they endeavor to serve their customers while adhering to state laws and trying to navigate contradictory federal law at the same time.
