Alena is the visionary behind FivePoint Cannabis, an acclaimed art gallery and pioneering cannabis shop established in 2018. As one of the first six approved licenses in all of Alberta, Alena’s passion for cannabis culture led her to create a space that seamlessly blends old school cannabis culture and art, recognizing the transformative power of art in the legalization movement She is also the founder and chair of the Bridgeland Business Improvement Area (BIA), an organization born out of the challenges faced during legalization that focusing on creating community and bringing businesses together. She has sat as a board member for the Alberta Cannabis Council. Philanthropy and community involvement are intrinsic to Alena’s values. With a background in creative directing, marketing, and small business operations, Alena has successfully built both brands from the ground up. Originally from Vancouver where she immersed herself in the vibrant cannabis culture, she now calls Calgary home.
