Carla brings extensive legal and capital markets experience to the Auxly team. Prior to joining Auxly, Carla led the investor relations function at Hudbay Minerals Inc., where she developed and executed strategic investor relations plans and represented the company in its relationships with the investment community. Before assuming her role in IR, Carla was Hudbay’s Legal Counsel, providing strategic legal and business advice on corporate governance, commercial transactions and compliance with corporate and securities laws and regulations. She also practiced law at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where she advised many of Canada’s largest and most successful public companies.
Carla holds a law (J.D.) degree from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (hBBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University’s Lazaridis School of Business and Economics.
