Dr. Cachat is also specialized in Data Science, working at the University of California, San Diego and the University of California, Davis on big-data neuroscientific data integration platforms,

He is a founding board member of the California Growers Association, Science, Standards & Labs committee chair for Sonoma County Growers Alliance, Sustainability committee member for California Cannabis Industry Association and a member of several regional NORML chapters.
