With a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Dr. Kahen has spent his career on developing analytical instrumentation and leading various businesses in life sciences. He is the inventor of 9 US patents (currently used in several mass spectrometry products) and has published more than 80 international papers and presentations. Before assuming the role of CEO at Advion-Interchim Scientific, he co-founded Sigma Analytical Services which is licensed under Health Canada for Cannabis Testing under GMP and is one of the leading labs in this space. He has also held various leadership and executive positions at PerkinElmer including General Manager of Mass Spectrometry Business Unit, Sr. Director of Global Research Organization, and Principal R&D Scientist.
