Elliot McKerr is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HYTN Innovations Inc., a Canadian-based manufacturer of GMP-certified, cannabis-derived non-sterile pharmaceuticals. Since launching the company, Mr. McKerr has led HYTN’s evolution from a domestic product-focused cannabis brand into a fully certified pharmaceutical operation, currently manufacturing more than 24 tonnes annually for export to international markets including Germany, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Under his leadership, HYTN has secured GMP, CDL, and DEL certifications, completed a public listing and built an integrated manufacturing platform aligned with the world’s most stringent regulatory frameworks. Mr. McKerr has been instrumental in guiding the company through shifting compliance regimes and market transitions, positioning HYTN at the intersection of global cannabis and pharmaceutical demand.
Prior to founding HYTN, McKerr spent over a decade in the beverage alcohol sector, where he led the development and expansion of a portfolio comprising 13 hospitality properties and over 20 consumer brands, taking multiple products into international markets. His operational track record, regulatory fluency, and strategic foresight continue to shape HYTN’s expansion across regulated markets and emerging therapeutic categories.
