Greg Patterson C.C.A., P. Ag

Professional activities: Mr. Patterson was one of the principal founding members of A&L Canada and is currently President and CEO and acts as the chief agronomist. His primary role is corporate administration, and customer support and service. Mr. Patterson obtained an honors degree in agriculture from the University of Guelph, in 1978 and has been a professional agronomist for over thirty years. He works closely with all agricultural clients to support the service provided by his company. He was one of the first people in Canada to earn the designate as a Certified Crop Advisor. As part of ongoing customer support, he personally conducts in depth agronomy and fertility training seminars for field, horticultural and specialty (Turf, Viticulture, and Silviculture) crops.

A&L Canada Laboratories – A&L Canada Laboratories Inc. (A&L) was established in 1985 as a wholly owned Canadian subsidiary of A&L Laboratories which consists of eight analytical laboratories located throughout North America. A&L is one of Ontario’s largest Agricultural and Environmental Laboratories specializing in soil, plant tissue, fertilizer and water testing. A&L provides reliable, comprehensive, effective services for analytical testing to growers across Canada and elsewhere. It employs a variety of professionals in the fields of chemistry, agronomy, and environmental science that are available to provide technical guidance and advice based on individual needs. A&L agronomists and certified crop specialists provide complete nutritional consultation to growers across nation wide and they act as focal points for transfer of technologies. A&L has developed novel technologies, such GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) sampling techniques, which have allowed growers to reduce costs and improve their efficiencies of production. A&L has the instrumentation and certified methodologies to carry out the most up to date analysis in inorganic and organic chemistry and pesticide analysis.
