Keanan Stone is currently General Manager of Valley Bio Limited, a registered seed establishment and varietal research site in Ontario, Canada. Together with her husband Reuben, they run Stone Farms, a 1,000-acre seed production farm specializing in pedigree seed production of hemp, soybeans, cereals and cover crops. They are also active shareholders in UniSeeds Inc., an industrial hemp genetics company.
Born and raised in rural Ontario, Keanan is a committed “agvocate” and avid community volunteer. She is currently serving as Vice Chair of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance, President for the Renfrew County Federation of Agriculture, and Co-Chair of the Research and Standards Committee of the Federation of International Hemp Organizations. Keanan and Reuben are also active members of several industry associations, including the Canadian and Ontario Seed Growers Associations, Ontario/Renfre County Soil & Crop Improvement Association and Ontario Soil Health Network.
Keanan and Reuben currently reside near Cobden, Ontario with their four beautiful children.
