THeCo.Space is a connector of spaces, places, & culture in the magical world of Flower, Fungi & Fun. Our mission is to bridge Healing, Educators, & Research (H.E.R.). Sami is professionally and academically trained at Capilano University where she received her Bachelor of Business, Certification in Retail Marketing, & Diploma in Commerce. As a business strategist, she pursued a career in Human Resources; specializing in Total Rewards Design, Employee/Labour Relations, & Organizational Development; while becoming a Chartered Human Resources Professional (CPHR) designation.

Then life happened. Illness & Injury forced her to take a left turn in her career and become a full-time cannabis & psilocybin patient just 3 months after launching her consultancy business she experienced a violent physical attack at a Vancouver venue that forced her body to take a long, deep and extremely painful pause. Sami is a dancer & performer, and on the day of the incident, Sami had performed a professionally choreographed version of “Thriller” famously performed by Michael Jackson. They say catalysts come in all kinds of packages. This force of energy that broke Sami’s spine, killed the caterpillar, gave life to the butterfly.

Today, Sami is H.E.R. a Healer, Educator & Research of Earth Medicine with personal & professional purpose to connect other Healers, Educators & Researchers in the space. In gratitude for how psilocybin & cannabis have been helping her heal, she has been dedicating her life and career to its study & innovation. Through H.E.R. and H.E.R.Studio (a tiny house studio located on a micro family farm in Vancouver Island) she has been building a mycelium-like ecosystem, creating anad linking up experiences and spaces across our global communities that include curations like #NugNerdOut Cannabis Sommelier Club and “Mental Health for Cannapreneurs” & “How to Grow Fungi at Home” workshops. Check out her work at THeCo.Space.

Sami’s speaking creations & engagements include: Panel Moderator at “Women in Cannabis & Psychedelics” MariGold Conference (2021) Panel Moderator at “Miss Mary Jane: A Feminine Perspective” CanMar Conference (2020) Speaker at “Workplace Compensation & Elevating Staff Engagement using Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs” PayScale’s Compference18 (2018) In-house Corporate Presentations (2004 – 2017) University talks & presentations (1999 – 2004)

Sami will be doing a talk at Growup’s first Victoria Psychedelic conference titled “The Mycelium Network and the Opportunity to develop Affiliations in Conscious Business” on June 20th in beautiful Vancouver Island, BC! H.E.R.Story will inspire others to choose to live their truth. With the guidance of psychedelics, we can heal! Depression, migraines, development of Serotonin. These are important findings to share. Hit her up for DJ Hummz gigs & ask her about THeDJCo.llective! Sami can be reached at micelli@theco.space & @theco.social & @micelli.sami on socials
