Selena Wong

Selena Wong is the CEO and co-founder of Flower of Life Integrative Health, a progressive clinic specializing in natural health, cannabis & psychedelic care.

Her early experience as a Public Educator at the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton (SACE) was a stepping stone into her work in medical cannabis, inspired by a holistic approach to health & healing. By 2010, Selena was cultivating cannabis for patients under an MMAR license and serving as a Budtender at the first medical cannabis dispensary in the Okanagan Valley, BC.

For years, Selena worked alongside one of Canada’s first physicians to authorize medical cannabis under the MMAR, MMPR, & ACMPR. During this time, she saw a clear necessity for quality education & ongoing support paired with organic, lab-tested, whole plant, consciously grown cannabis products & compassionate access to safe medicine.

She co-founded the Flower of Life Compassion Club Society in 2014, a registered non-profit medical cannabis dispensary. This led to the creation of the Flower of Life Apothecary in 2015, and expanded into the Flower of Life Integrative Health clinic in 2017.

In 2018, She presented ‘Sex, Death & Cannabis’ at The Spirit Plant Medicine Conference, and was featured in ‘The Little Book of Cannabis’ by Amanda Siebert, a New York Times bestseller.

Her expertise in therapeutic cannabis applications and end-of-life care started with her own journey managing chronic pain after a near fatal car accident 20 years ago, and a decade as a live-in caregiver for her grandparents.

Selena studied Clinical Cannabinoid Medicine at The Medical Cannabis Institute, she’s a certified Medical Cannabis Wellness Advisor through Dr. Dustin Sulak’s ‘Healer’ program, & is a certified Dragonfly Earth Medicine (DEM) Pure Educator. She’s a recipient of the Cosmic Sisters of Cannabis grant from the globally recognized feminist non-profit organization. Currently, she’s studying Herbalism at Pacific Rim College.

She recently enjoyed judging the cannabis flower competition at The Organic Cup in Barcelona, Spain & as a fun side gig, teaches the course ‘Seed to Harvest: Cannabis Botany & Plant Sciences’ at Okanagan College.
