Steve Clark

Steve Clark, a seasoned business professional, stands as a leader in the global cannabis industry, notably serving as the CEO of the Canadian Cannabis Exchange (CCX). Under his passionate leadership, CCX connects wholesale buyers and sellers through a live trading platform, facilitated by an adept team of in-house brokers who have completed thousands of deals, totaling over $100 million in transaction value. CCX’s impactful presence has been acknowledged with prestigious awards, including a Calgary Chamber of Commerce accolade for Emerging Growth Award—a groundbreaking recognition for a cannabis-related company.

Under the same umbrella, Steve spearheads the Global Cannabis Exchange (GCX), fostering international connections and establishing crucial supply chains to drive industry growth through an extensive network. With a background as an oil trader in the oil and gas sector, Steve seamlessly transitioned into the cannabis industry, initially serving as the COO of Canadian LP 314 Pure Cannabis. Under the brand Poolboy, Steve played a key role in helping 314 build, operate, and achieve cultivation and sales licenses before venturing on to found CCX.

Steve wears multiple hats in the industry, also serving as the CEO of Loud Lion Supply and Loud Lion Capital. These entities, complementary to CCX’s services, provide funding to the industry and offer access to new and used equipment through a customized marketplace.

Beyond his executive roles, Steve showcases his entrepreneurial spirit as the owner of Double Dutch Cannabis, an independent dispensary in Calgary. His diverse roles underscore not only his leadership in various sectors of the cannabis industry but also his commitment to driving innovation and growth within this dynamic landscape.
