Susan Seto

Susan leads strategic research programs covering a breadth of consumer areas and product categories, with the aim to inspire new thinking and enable stronger connections between people and the organizations who seek to make a meaningful difference. Her career spans roles in corporate retail, marketing agency and research consultancy, building on over two decades of experience consulting with corporate and not-for-profit clients across consumer and B2B applications in the tourism, arts/culture & entertainment, innovation & technology, education, consumer goods & services, and retail sectors. She is focused on strategy-driven outcomes that leverage her passion for digging deep into human insights and solving multi-faceted business problems. Susan draws on her contextual knowledge and expertise in a breadth of approaches – as well as a deep understanding of values-based motivations and influences – to help her clients make creative and smart decisions.

Her work understanding the values of Canadians (and Americans), has provided a distinct lens into generational differences, consumer orientations, decision-making influences and digital engagement – informing the development of brand-building, product and marketing strategy for clients across a range of sectors and categories.

Her client consulting experience includes TIFF, Kijiji Canada, Uber, Amazon Ads, OSPCA, and the LCBO. She has spoken at a number of conferences on topics related to tourism, culture, consumer and generational values.

Susan holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business.
