Dr. Tom Dupree is Vice President of Technology at Delic Labs, a licensed cannabis and psilocybin research laboratory focused on extraction optimization, analytical testing, and process development. Delic Labs is one of a handful of research labs licensed for both cannabis and psilocybin in Canada. Delic Labs was initially founded as Complex Biotech Discovery Ventures by Dr. Roggen and Prof. Dr. Glenn Sammis in 2018, and rebranded after acquisition by Delic Corp.
Tom received a B.Sci from the University of Newcastle Australia in 2003, an MSc in organic synthesis and computational drug design from the University of Wollongong, Australia in 2005 and PhD in 2018 from the University of New South Wales, Australia. In the interim Tom worked as a medicinal chemist for Prosidion in Oxford, UK contributing to several patents in the diabetes and obesity fields. Tom’s professional interests are developing computational models of real world phenomena with limited datasets, at Delic Labs these efforts are primarily focused on super-critical fluid extraction for improved efficiency, consistency and purity.
