I possess 20 years of experience in the security industry mainly focused on large complex integration projects in the Government, Correctional, Healthcare, Law and Protection, Commercial and Industrial verticals.
I started my career in the security industry as an R&D technologist working alongside renowned individuals from the industry to design software and hardware used across the world to secure correctional facilities, large facilities, VIP and numerous other facilities. Early in my security integration career, I completed several successful challenging projects as a senior technician and site supervisor. These experiences allowed me to better understand the complexity and challenges of complex security projects and develop from my early position to upper management positions.
From 2011-2017, I focused my efforts towards business development / sales, system design, senior project management and operations. On a business development / sales front, I opened several new and exciting accounts and I have been part of several sales efforts for security projects ranging from $10K to $10M+ (Security). On a system design / senior project management front, my designs and project management techniques have been proven on several occasions. I successfully sold, designed and managed projects with values up to $7M+ while remaining on schedule and on margin.
I have applied knowledge of most if not all aspects of a security project from project pursuit / sales to project completion.
I successfully designed and deployed the following security systems and sub-systems:
– Video Management Systems / Closed Circuit Television Systems (CCTV)
– Access Control Systems
– Intrusion Detection Systems (Interior, Exterior – Perimeter Detection)
– Inmate Control Systems (Door Control, Nurse Call, Guard Tour)
– Active and Passive Duress Systems
– Intercom and Public address systems
– Networking Infrastructure (Wired and Wireless)
