Dani leads Communications & community-building efforts at Procurify.com, a software company based in Vancouver, BC that helps organizations manage their spending. Procurify helps many emerging cannabis companies such as Anandia Labs, Evolabs, and Palliatech track and control spending, with an easy to use solution that works with seed-to-sale software to drive more spend control and purchasing compliance.

Dani is also the co-host of Spend Culture Podcast, the world’s first female-produced podcast on organizational culture and finance, which is a top 50 finance podcast on iTunes in Canada. The podcast explores how organizations can be more proactive with their Spend Culture through interviews with experts in various industries, such as cannabis. Dani has interviewed cannabis CEOs, accountants, auditors, and CFOs from all around the world.

With a natural passion for community building, connectivity, and storytelling, she is passionate about creating opportunities to find unique avenues to tell stories of people, solutions, and organizations that add value to our world and lives.

Kieley Beaudry

Kieley Beaudry

Passionate about all things cannabis. Kieley co-founded a micro cultivation and processor in 2018 and founded the Alberta Cannabis Micro Licence Association (ACMLA) in 2019.  Kieley spent the early part of 2019 lobbying the County of Parkland to increase Cannabis production from 1 land zone to 8.  Kieley’s career background is 7 years in occupational health, safety, security, and environment in industrial construction and facilities operation.  Those skills have been foundational in navigating the highly regulated Canadian Cannabis industry. In 2021, the company was acquired, just 9 short months after licencing. In 2022, they achieved dried flower, Extracts, Topicals and Edibles sales licence and built distribution from coast to coast in Canada; including  AB, ON, NB, PEI, BC and SK.  As Founder and Past President of the ACMLA, Kieley lead lobby efforts to reduce insurance requirements for Micro licence holders and AGLC changed their policy in favor of Micro’s.

Currently, Kieley is focused on cannabis Mergers and Acquisitions with Hyde Advisory. Helping cannabis operators domestically and abroad, build strategic partnerships, raise capital or divest their business. Kieley brings a unique skill set to this aspect of the space with full operational expertise and knowledge of transferring licences to new parties and investors.

David Kjolberg

David Kjolberg

David has been cultivating cannabis for over three decades and has been active in both consulting and designing many cultivation sites over the years. Most recently, David worked for over three years as the Master Grower for one of the first LP’s in Canada. Being a cannabis user for an even longer period of time, the quality of cannabis is of the upmost priority in his cultivation practices. He also has a passion for sharing his experience by teaching other people the skills and best practices to produce the highest quality product. David’s key desire is for the Cannabis industry to grow and succeed by producing higher productivity without sacrificing a high standard of quality.

Peter Guo

Peter Guo, BSc, MBA, CPA, CA, CISA, CRISC, CITP, ABCP, ICD.D is the Leader for MNP LLP’s Enterprise Risk Services and Cannabis Industry Services teams in British Columbia. For more than 25 years, Peter has been providing risk management, consulting and assurance services to private and public companies and government organizations. Peter assists MNP’s clients as they develop strategy, navigate through uncertainty and seize opportunities, while effectively managing risks, threats and vulnerabilities.

A senior member of MNP’s national Cannabis Industry team, Peter has presented at and chaired panels throughout BC and Canada, including major conferences and executive roundtables, as well as numerous chambers of commerce and local communities. With biotech, pharma and retail experience, Peter’s cross-industry knowledge represents foundational intersects with the rapidly-expanding Cannabis sector. He is actively advising industry players and investors on current and evolving trends and opportunities. Peter’s client conversations have a particular emphasis on strategies, structures and challenges across the cultivationextractionmanufacturingretail value chain to accelerate Cannabis 2.0.

Dr. Olga Chernoloz

Dr. Olga Chernoloz

With a Ph.D. in Neuroscience Olga has held a number of roles in clinical trials management, drug development, biotech and pharmaceutics. As a trained neuropharmacologist and a registered pharmacist Dr. Chernoloz, head of Omnica Biotech, helps cannabinoid space players of all sizes to guide R&D programs, run feasibility analyses and optimize business development strategy taking into consideration scientific and regulatory underpinnings. The research program for development of cannabinoid veterinary drugs developed by her company was since adopted and successfully run through clinical trials.
Dr. Chernoloz has developed and delivered educational modules for medical and adult cannabis space in both academic and business settings. Olga has designed and delivered a course in one of the first cannabis-centric college programs at AAPS and is leading the Science of Cannabis course at the Ryerson University .
Looking to share her knowledge and experience Olga mentors participants of cannabis startup accelerator Leaf Forward. Dr. Chernoloz provides scientific advisory to companies in cannabinoid space.
Prior to pivoting into cannabinoid field Olga specialized in mental health research authoring number of original research articles and a chapter in an instructional book on Neurobiology of Mood Disorders.

Caryma Sa’d is an up and coming lawyer in the cannabis space. She works closely with cannabis activists, educators, and entrepreneurs, as well as individual patients and recreational consumers. Her perspective on the intersection of law, politics, and racism underlying cannabis prohibition makes her a strong proponent of legalization and amnesty.

Narbe Alexandrian is the President and CEO of Canopy Rivers. Prior to joining Canopy Rivers, Narbe was a Senior Associate at OMERS Ventures, one of the most prominent technology venture capital funds in Canada. During his tenure, Narbe helped fundraise for two funds ($520M of capital), sourced and lead multiple debt/equity financings, and acted as a Board Observer for a number of portfolio companies. Prior to OMERS Ventures, Narbe was a Senior Strategy Manager in TELUS’ Internet of Things (IoT) group where he helped launch operational go-to-market strategies to TELUS’ executive leadership team. Prior to TELUS, he held roles at Firmex Inc., a leading virtual data room company based in Toronto, and Deloitte LLP, where he held roles in Financial Advisory and Consulting (fka Monitor Deloitte). Narbe is currently a Sessional Instructor at the Schulich School of Business, teaching technology entrepreneurship and venture capital within the undergraduate and MBA programs. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Sarah is an entrepreneur with15+ years of leadership experience in international business strategy, M&A, business development and strategic partnerships primarily in technology companies. Before establishing CIF she was the VP Business Development at Lift & Co. (TSXV: LIFT), the largest Canadian Cannabis Aggregator. Before that, she held Executive Business Development roles in various startups and established companies in Israel and the US.
