Taylor Kirk

Taylor Kirk is a cultivation advisor for Fluence, where he strives to help the world grow smarter by concentrating on consulting growing partners and collaborating with researchers and other cannabis industry leaders. He brings more than twenty-five years of experience in agriculture to the company, with a diverse background in agronomy and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Following the legalization of medical cannabis in Texas, Taylor shifted his professional focus to cannabis production, breeding, R&D, cultivation facility design and project management in his roles as vice president of operations and director of cultivation at Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation (TOCC). In these roles, he developed a strong cannabis cultivation program for the company, planting the first legal seeds under Texas’ medical cannabis program and developing medical cannabis cultivars for TOCC’s specific product needs. Also, an experienced hemp producer, Taylor owns and operates 4K Pharm LLC, a craft hemp farm in Texas.

Marcus “BubbleMan” Richardson

Marcus “BubbleMan” Richardson

Marcus Richardson has been an entrepreneur interested in medicinal cannabis extraction and hemp cultivation since 1993. He is renowned for his cannabis macro photography pieces, which have been purchased by National Geographic and others. He helped pioneer hemp growing in Manitoba for the first time in 73 years and was one of the first growers for the BC compassion club in Vancouver back in 1998.

Marcus is the owner of Freshheadies, Ltd., which popularized the water extraction method with its groundbreaking eight-bag water extraction kits. His products and writing have been featured in countless magazines, and he continues to educate the public about the use and extraction of cannabinoids for medicinal needs today with his popular Weekly Live Stream on YouTube, “Hash Church”. Marcus’ next goal is a research and development company based in Kingston, Jamaica. It will analyze and study the cannabinoid profiles of cultivars bred by Master Breeders and processed by Marcus and his team. He has also recently signed a deal in California to have his Bubbleman Branded Hash and Rosins sold throughout the state. Additionally, the Bubbleman brand has expanded into Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Arizona, Washington, and Colorado.

Dustan McLean

Dustan McLean

With 30 years of cannabis cultivation experience, Dustan has dedicated a good portion of his life to cannabis. He was a founding partner and Head of Cultivation/Master Grower for Parkland Flower Inc. – which in 2022 won Canadian Craft Producer of the Year under his direction. He is now the Cultivation Manager and Master Grower for Big League Cultivation in Alberta, Canada – which provides incredible genetics to Canadian producers as well as selected flower and concentrates for the international market. In 2024, Dustan was named one of Canada’s Top 50 Cannabis Leaders. He is a founding partner and Master Grower for West Coast Weedery – a soon to be licensed producer based on Galiano Island in British Columbia.

Dustan is also a cultivation consultant with Chief Grow Officer Consulting – helping Licensed Producers and growers across Canada and the United States with their operations and genetics. He is currently working on several cannabis projects – involving developing a cultivar which will help in the battle against opioid addiction – developing a drought resistant cultivar – and another having to do with resistance to HLVD and other viroids which are a serious threat to the cannabis industry.

Matthew Jerome

Matthew Jerome is the Founder and Chief Consultant at Meristem Cannabis Consulting and recently became the first fully certified Canadian Ganjier, registered out of Humboldt, CA – ganjier.com. Matthew began his cannabis career more than 15 years ago as a medicinal patient and designated grower, and has worked as a cannabis educator and consultant for the last 4 years. He has been an advocate for over 12 years and has spoken at a number of cannabis events highlighting its medicinal benefits. His goal within the industry has been to work with both companies and individuals to educate and provide confidence when it comes to quality related decisions. Matthew is a former patient-care specialist, kinesiologist and hydronic specialist, and has been using his expertise to design and consult for medicinal growers for over 11 years. He is a graduate with honours from the award winning NACPT – Industrial Cannabis Production program and is a certified Master Grower. Matthew has also provided numerous group information sessions, how-to seminars, and personalized one-on-one consultations on all aspects of cannabis.

Jonathan Stemeroff

Jonathan Stemeroff

Jonathan is the master grower and facility manager for Edenbrooke, a new medical cannabis producer located near Brantford, Ontario. Jonathan received his MSc. from the University of Guelph where he studied medical cannabis irrigation strategies under Dr. Mike Dixon in the Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility (CESRF). He is the first person to attain a graduate level degree in cannabis production in North America. He also completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Environmental Engineering where he studied in fields including soil mechanics, water filtration, and fluid mechanics. Jonathan gained experience working in agriculture as a soybean research assistant for Monsanto Canada where he was involved in large-scale agriculture and research for soybean breeding programs. During his MSc., he worked for ABcann Medicinals as a Horticultural Technician and Researcher gaining valuable experience in all aspects of medical cannabis production under the Health Canada ACMPR. After working for ABcann, Jonathan worked as the director of cultivation at Medz Cannabis Inc. helping build the company from the start and attaining their cultivation license.

In Michael Foy’s 26 years in the logistics industry, he has helped clients large and small in consulting on operational solutions that help retailers and manufacturers to optimize their supply chains. Prior to Inmar, Michael held a number of technical and sales management roles with Airborne Express and DHL. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Decision Sciences from University of Illinois.
