Megan’s cannabis industry career began in early 2018 under the ACMPR as a Quality Manager at Tilray. Since then, she has supported numerous small and medium-sized producers in launching, scaling, and strengthening their operations. Before entering the cannabis sector, Megan worked as an analytical chemist, gaining extensive experience in laboratory management, accreditation, and data validation.
Megan holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Alberta and a Master of Business Administration focused on organizational behaviour from the University of Victoria, an ideal combination of technical depth and strategic insight for the ever evolving cannabis industry.
Megan has served for the past five years on the board of the Association of the Chemical Profession of British Columbia (ACPBC) as Secretary and Director. She is also the Vice-Chairperson for the C45 Quality Association, contributing to the development of industry best practices, engaging with federal and provincial regulators, and promoting the public benefits of a well-regulated cannabis industry.
